ITBP to get four more battalions to guard Sino-Indian border in Northeast

.
Only time i support increase in defence personnel,ITBP is actually undermanned.

.
Getting people in alone is not enough. They need the following:
1- assault rifles and snipers
2- night vision goggles and binocs.
3- polymer armour and helmets
5- immediate helicopter transports.
6- ammunition
7- emergency medical supplies of good quality.

Even Indian army don't get any of these on your list. These border police are meant to be cannon folders. They are lucky to get a uniform. Unless a significant number of them has been wiped out, Indian army would not get a text message.

.
Guerrilla tactic is employed only when you admit you've lost the land and the war, and want to employ maximum damage before an official end to the conflict, and hope they concede some land and retreat to a better held position.

Even if it is expensive and cumbersome, a threat of an all out is the best deterrent to make the enemy think before engaging.
Yes Agreed.
Given that China is economically stronger and can wage war for extended period of time it makes no sense to waste men & material on war that cannot be won. As you said, India can inflict more damage at a lesser cost. China will obviously field more men & material to outclass India numerically. China will be more worried about SFF than a artillery/armoured unit as they can sabotage and inflict more damage on their infra.

A low intensity war (just like what pakistan does) suits India than conventional war which would be chinas strength.

.
Just more military cost for political benefit.

True, except that some jobs don't create wealth, only value when they are necessary. If not necessary, then just a waste.

Abosolutely true just like the $145 billion defense budget of China which will also earn very little return.

It has value when it is necessary especially strategically. That is why China is cutting back the armed force and concentrating resources at key areas, not swinged by popular sentiments.

we also value our manpower as we have two big adversaries to the west and north, we cannot send amateurs during conflict, and in the mountains manpower is of great importance, the day we have a peace loving neighbors we would love to tone back our manpower, and spend a lot on other things, but as for now the nation is at stake, and none on this earth can hear the popular sentiments in china.

border police is ill equipped than the army but Indian army is a very large army, over 3 million so to supply all to every one takes time
and our men are not that bad

In case of any aggression from the other side, they'll be the first line of defense. You won't want them to be butt naked with sticks and stones in hand. And movement from the army will take considerably valuable time, ITBP should have enough resources to hold them till reinforcement arrives.
The location and terrain where ITBP is employed does not suit utilisation of tracked vehicles.
