What's new

It is confirmed Sri Lanka Air Force to buy JF-17s

Only if it means you continue to get these mediocre , poor man's multi role aircraft- then I have no problem with your name calling ( it's does not mean it is true , but go for it). Even China is not keen on adding much or any to its own fleet. It's not me just calling it mediocre...it's well documented and accepted that this a good aircraft for small nations with smaller budgets that don't or can't afford the top level fighters in that class...

As I said. Spend more time on this forum. Learn more. Work on yourself. Making mockery out of yourself might be a honored tradition in India. The other world doesn't follow this tradition. So don't expect appreciation from non Indian members for your behavior. We will get as many JFT as we want. Spend your soft loan on your bhooki nangi nation. Many Indians need it.

I get a lot of respect from many non Indian members here, just not from the nut jobs here . thank you:). and my nation is the US , but even then so- for someone who asked me to read up, you certainly are not well versed to call India who gives out loans to others vs. your nation who requests for one, as being a country wanting in that department.

Looking forward to see beautiful Lion symbol on JFT.

You do get respect from other Indians. As I said earlier being a dumbas$ is considered a matter of pride in one of our neighboring country.

And when I say your nation I mean India. The country which you have quit. Again dumbas$ness at its peak. There are millions who are dying of hunger at home and here we have this so called super power who is giving aid to others. You are continuously proving with whatever I said earlier.

Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, all sky will full of JF-17.......

Bangladesh already preferred J7B.. even this thread running without source, we all know why ;)

And China  they will never gonna induct it.

Bad decision by SL IMO.

Sri Lanka should have gone for F-16 Blk52 or Mig-29 SMT or Su-30/27 or EF.

Their immediate (?) threat is India and US(Diego Garcia). Few JFTs does not make sense.

You do know besides Indians there are many members here. and really it's you flipping out, not me. I'm just pulling the strings to make up jump when I want you to.

Now, you taunted about India being poor and naked and needs loans for itself internally. I simply said that coming from your position, you'd be a bit careful about calling others names, especially when you under educated in your views.

Then- there is the fact, which btw- if you had only heeded to your own advice of reading up before spewing ignorance, that no country in the world is without it's poor and hungry. But soft loans are given to gain influence, trade and mutual economic benefits, hence the word is " loan". Which in turn helps the poor and needy the very country to also get jobs. The theory is instead of giving money away, why not create opportunity. i.e. Feed a man fish, he eats for that day, teach him to fish , he feeds himself everyday.

Now I know all I said above is above your comprehension and education level- but do take some time to let it seep through before you post again..

Look, it's a "poor man's" multi-role aircraft, but it certainly ain't mediocre. Our pilots are more than satisfied with it, its weapons package certainly isn't mediocre... it's providing a greater bang for the buck compared to a "top-of-the-line" fighters like the f-16s.

India is no threat to them last time I checked. Their relationship with India is completely dependent on how they want to engage India. They can never buy anything other than go nuclear to really defend themselves against India. But again- they have no enemy in India.

For USA they need atleast J20 ... nothing less than that

No and I don't say this because of personal reasons. It is well documented that ofcourse it gives bang for its buck, the buck being under 20 million an aircraft. but it is still considered a mediocre aircraft to other top line ones. Now if you just want to call it better than F16 top liners then go for it...I can claim the paper rocket in my house is as good as a radio controlled aircraft too..does not make it one.

let's put this way, the Chinese themselves don't want these in their fleet either at all or very many of them. they themselves are not too keen have it in their arsenal. certainly they would have if this was better than top line aircraft's , let alone better than F16's latest series

Nations buy weapons by threat perception. You should have a credible weapon system irrespective of any relationship engagement. Afterall we are not US-Canada.

Yeah, but this is not for any Indian threat. It's for their internal use I guess. last time , the Tamil terrorists owned the skies practically.
