ISRO Successfully Tests Its GSLV Mk III Cryogenic Engine

May be in distant future, but they are developing or atleast in conceptual stage working on a heavy lift vehicle named ULV. It will be able to carry man to to moon and return. But it will take time. But ISRO is already started on first step, developing a 2000 kN semicryogenic engine.

ULV can carry 15 tons to LEO.

The rocket in CGI which is biggest, is not ULV. It is a concept as of now and sources say when it comes to reality it will be able to carry 100 Tons to LEO.

In a major milestone, an indigenous cryogenic engine, that will help India put satellites of upto four tonnes in geostationary orbit, was tested successfully at ISRO's propulsion complex at Mahendragiri in this district.

The powerful version of the cryogenic engine was successfully ground tested at the Liquid Propulsion systems centre.

The test was conducted for 635 seconds and it was successful, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre sources in Thiruvananthapuram said.

ISRO sources said its chairman A S Kirankumar came to Mahendragiri this morning and the testing started at 4.30 pm. A team headed by Director D Karthikesan led the testing.

As of 2013, there are no supercomputers from Pakistan on the Top 500 list...

That is not ULV ........ The rocket shown is only a concept as of now and dubbed Heavy Lift Vehicle or HLV with a capacity of 100tons to LEO .

OTOH , Unified Launch Vehicle or ULV is a group of LVs with heaviest having a lift capacity of 15 tons to LEO .
