The majority of the victims are children, who had been awaiting the end of the war and the possibility of returning to their homes after prolonged displacement, as well as enduring over a year and a half of continuous bombardment and acts of genocide.

Heartbreaking: Aya Ali Al-Dabba, 13 years old, was killed by Israeli forces at the start of the ground operation in Tel Al-Hawa -Gaza.
She was shot in the chest by an Israeli sniper while filling drinking water at a shelter school in Tel Al-Hawa and died instantly. Her body was carefully shrouded, wrapped in a blanket, and buried in a grave at least 1 meter deep, reinforced with school desks and concrete slabs. Shortly after, Israeli forces stormed the school, ordering the immediate evacuation of displaced people under heavy fire and bombardment.
Yesterday, after the ceasefire took effect, her family returned to the burial site but found only scattered remains.
