Marshal

The link you provide - does that say that the fire was not started by a accident?? Rather the link you provide suggests the divide in Indian society and politics.

Was it worth it to lie to score a point? Was it worth your reputation?? As angry and frustrated as you may be at a entirely unsatisfactory situation, was the behaviour you exhibited worth it??

Just move on and persuade with logic and honor.

^^^Well really, you can't blame Hindus if after a thousand years of telling them "You are Hindus and we are Muslims", they are finally starting to get the point.

the link suggeting that what you are saying is not true...........
and I didnt post that to score a point.......I dont belive in this kind of things .......I was expecting more civilised and constructive debate on that but instead what I got is completely opposite........Thats why I just posted a link that can improve the imformation that you have right now regarding the Godhra riots case.....anyway.......thats why I told you that first you need to understand the politics of India .......I am from Gujarat and the incident that took place is barely 30km away from where I live.....Ask to those eye witness who have lost their love ones about what happen there in godhara.........However as I told you. I have never justified the thing that took place after this incedent.......I still belive that those who are responsible for killings of Muslims and Hindus must brought to the justice..........I hope we will have a constructive debate on that.......

Before questioning anyone's character I suggest you should come to India and understand the politics of vote bank..........I dont want to comment anything more on that because you know and I know that we are not going to agree with each others in this matter.......you are relying more on NEWS...and that to on the old out dated one.......so down a bit.....we know the ground situation and politics of India.........By the way.............check this out.......HC terms Sabarmati Express panel illegal - The Financial Express

:) and you are relying on news too and that too old ones.

The comittee constituted by the Ghujrat government can not be called fair as the Gujrat Government of Modi was involved in brutal slaughtering of thousands of Muslims in Gujrat.

How can a committee formed by the state governement of terrorist Modi be trusted.

and even if we trust it look at the investigations, the committee formed by the Modi terrorist government still failed to submite its report.

The committe formed by the Center was headed by Indian High court judge and it clearly probed and said that train fire was accidental rather pathatic handling of the stoves by the Hinuds in the train that led to fire.

Alas your fanatic terrorists of Modi burnt Muslims alive in Gujrat.

what shamful black spot that to remain forever on the face of India.

Oh you mean we should say you are Hinuds and we also Hinuds ???

Right ?

Accept that this Chunkya ideology is still there in India.

Right ?

Accept that this Chunkya ideology is still there in India.

What's a hinud? What's Chunkya?

Right. If you keep reminding hindus of how different you are, eventually, hindus are gonna catch on to it.

guys where it is going? there is some training exercise getting conducted between two militaries that's it. What is the problem in that?

So what's that mean? that because they are not Muslim, it's OK to lie? Or it's OK to engage in communal rioting?

You are supposed to be a senior member, take some responsibilty!

It doesn't mean anything. That's just the way it is. Human nature itself.

Although we are going off topic but as you has called the facts as basless here the proof for you.

An inquiry by the Indian rail ministry into a fire on a train in Gujarat four years ago has concluded that it was caused by an accident.
The February 2002 blaze claimed the lives of 59 Hindus and sparked religious riots in which at least 1,000 people, mostly Muslims, were killed.

But the railway ministry finding has been rejected by the Hindu nationalist BJP which governs Gujarat.

A separate inquiry into the Gujarat riots is yet to submit its conclusions.

It was alleged that the fire on the train which took place in the town of Godhra had been caused allegedly by an attack by a Muslim mob.

Dozens of suspects are being held in connection with the blaze under a tough anti-terrorist law which has since been repealed.

'Accidental fire'

A committee headed by a retired Supreme Court judge, Umesh Chandra Banerjee, submitted its final report to the railway ministry on Friday.

"We have come to the conclusion that it was not a deliberately attempted fire. It was an accidental fire," Justice Banerjee told a news conference.

He said his interim report released last year, had made the same conclusion.
'No credibility'

The detailed report has not been yet made public.

But the BJP has dismissed the findings saying the matter was a criminal case and should be decided in court.

"This is not something that can be decided by a departmental inquiry," BJP spokesman Arun Jaitley told journalists.

"It's a document... that has no credibility."

The committee was set up by the Congress-party led government after it came to power defeating the BJP in May 2004.

Most accounts following the train fire said a Muslim mob threw petrol bombs at the train, starting the blaze.

Survivor accounts also spoke of a stone-throwing mob attacking the train.

But Justice Banerjee said that according to eyewitness accounts people had been cooking in the carriage at the time it caught fire.

The riots in 2002 were among the worst religious riots in India since the country's partition in 1947.

The BJP state government were criticised for not doing enough to contain the violence.

again posting the same thing:

Offcourse Hindus and Muslims are different thats the fact whats the problem with that with you guys.

And if we buy your argument that beacuse we remind the Hindus that we are differentfrom them so Hindus have the right to resort to violence and killing Muslims, then what about low cast Hindus????
They are being reminded of their low status since thousands of years so it means they have the right to kill upper class Hindus as well.

Sorry that makes no sense to me. I'm inclined to believe that as usual, you have no clue what I'm talking about.

Sadly, I am in no mood to elaborate.

Train fire behind Gujarat riots 'an accident'
A train fire that killed 59 Hindu pilgrims and set off deadly sectarian riots in Gujarat in 2002 was an accident and not caused by a Muslim mob as originally alleged, an Indian Government investigation concludes.

The fire was originally said to have been sparked by kerosene bombs thrown at the train.

However, the four-member committee appointed to investigate the fire has found it was probably caused by someone cooking or smoking inside a coach.

"The fire in S6 coach of Sabarmati Express can at this stage be ascribed as an 'accidental fire'," the committee said in its interim report.

About 2,000 people, mostly Muslims, died in rioting and bloody reprisals after the train fire on February 27, 2002.

"There has been a preponderance of evidence that the fire in coach number S6 originated in the coach itself without any external input," retired Supreme Court judge UC Bannerjee, who headed the committee, said.

"On the basis of the available evidence, the committee has found it unbelievable that Kar Sevaks (Hindu pilgrims) armed with Trishuls (tridents) would allow to get themselves burned without a murmur."

The Hindu pilgrims were returning from the temple town of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh state when two coaches of their passenger train caught fire near a predominantly Muslim village, just after leaving Godhra train station in Gujarat.

Both the Gujarat Government and Federal Government at the time said the pilgrims were attacked by a mob of Muslims after insults were exchanged at the station.

The Gujarat Government accused 131 people of taking part in the arson that destroyed two coaches and arrested 104 under an anti-terrorism law passed in the wake of the September 11, 2001, attacks.

No one has been convicted and the law was later repealed by the Congress-led Government, which came to power in May.

Railways Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav - a maverick leader staunchly opposed to Gujarat's ruling Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) - announced the high-level departmental inquiry in July.

Gujarat's Hindu nationalist administration has been accused by several domestic and foreign human rights groups of turning a blind eye to the riots and in some cases helping the trouble-makers.

The previous Hindu nationalist Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP)-led federal government was also seen as a passive bystander.

A leader of the BJP, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, rejects the Bannerjee committee's findings as "politically motivated."

"The timing of the release of the report is such that Laloo thinks he can divert people's attention away from misgovernance and his party's poor administrative performance in Bihar," Mr Naqvi said, referring to the minister's home state.

Former law minister Arun Jaitley questions the need for the investigation.

"There is one probe going on into the conspiracy angle and another criminal trial is in process," he said.

"Therefore the question is was there any need for another probe?"

However, a spokesman for the ruling Congress party, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, dismisses the BJP's reaction as "irresponsible".

"The charge that the probe is politically motivated is an old charge, they cannot dispute the facts," he said.
