Israeli supermarkets boycott Turkish products

by the way, Saudis dominate the ''dates'' industry. It makes a hell of a lot more sense for israel to withdraw from occupied lands, and end their inhumane blockade and oppression of Palestinian peoples.

under Netanyahoo, it wont happen. Maybe in our lifetime it will never happen; because israelis have a free hand to do as they want and kill as they please

I didn't know Godiva was owned by the Turks! I love it and will now stock up big time :-) My taste buds and political preferences are in perfect alignment!

Godiva-Ulker have an office in Karachi. ;) ;)

and yes, it is a relatively recent acquisition made by Ulker for almost $900m

Some of thurkish foods are great - i love 'em

and there are at least two turkish shops just outside my home. I prefer to buy my food from there ignoring even Pakistani food stores that is because Turkish are always selling Fresh food and whenever you enter you get to see new kind of products that you see for the first time in your life

I love Turkish peoples - Keep it up the good work guyz

There was a very popular Turkish Delights (Lokum) shop just 15 minutes away from my old Istanbul apartment.

I remember I sent 3 boxes of those to some family I have in Rawalpindi. Just days later, before I could even call them to ask if they were enjoying it, they had already finished all 3 boxes!!!! :D

Turkey must be doomed now :rofl::rofl:

Why???? If i talk about this forum, i was one of the fierest critics of Turkey, but now i am loving them with all my hearts despite those criticizm. Erdogan is a great leader.

Jigs, kardesh....

the heaviest i have ever been was when I was in turkiye. Your food makes people happy, but very fat!!! Good thing is that you walk a lot when u live in Istanbul! In general, Turks love to enjoy life --and food/drink is a huge part of Turkish culture.

Turkish desserts are very nice. Everything from chocolate pudding with fistik (pistachio) to the Turkish delights (you call it lokum)

herşey ''orgazmiktir'' :D

even the soups -- such as mercimen corbasi. Woww. These israilys are the ones who will lose; and as the days go by we can see how immature and erratic they behave.

i went to turkey Istanbul as a tourist .. great place , great people and once they figure out you are from Pakistan they tend to welcome you more. Throughout my trip to Europe Turkey was the only place which i loved the most. Sure will like to go there again. The Bosphorous cruise is simply out of this world...!

Turks love Pakistanis. It was one of the only countries in the world where I really felt welcome. Once I learned Turkish, I really felt at home there.

leaving that country was most difficult for me.....fantastic people, and a true genuine brother country to Pakistan

Actually for me i get fat in the U.S. since you have to drive everywhere here and lose all that weight in Turkey because of the walking. I look forward to the food so much when i visit back. There is no Turkish food here. Only Gyros which is the Greek's version of Donar. It taste pretty awful too. I can't wait to get back for the food and the drinks! American Beer isn't doing it for me and they don't carry Raki here
