If Iran, as a state wanted to target Israeli embassy in a foreign country.... India is the last place they will choose to do!! Why would Israel target it's own embassy in India?? they have been living with Indian attitude towards it's adverseries from day one!! Way I see it... this is an attempt to kill two birds in one stone! Then again..Indians are clever enough not to fall into this!!

As I said before this could very well be Indians. A lot of people in India (especially Islamists) are not comfortable with Israel.

we know why the UK embassy was attacked: it was a "smart" move from Khamenei against Ahmadinejad.
This was organized. Some basiji said they were sent by bus there and when they arrived the people already were in the embassy (when they were in the garden).

You are saying about US embassy: this is an action of people by themselves not an order from Khomeini.
Some people who were there later said that Khomeini got confused with such a move and didn't know first how to deal with.

Remote control could have been used to trigger car blast: Police

A magnetic device was apparently stuck on the rear of the Israeli Embassy car, which exploded in Delhi on Monday, and the blast could have been triggered with a remote control device, Delhi Police Commissioner BK Gupta said.

He said the Special Cell of Delhi Police has been given the responsibility to probe the incident, he said.

He quoted an eyewitness and said a magnetic device was stuck on the rear of the car near Aurangzeb Road crossing by a persib riding a motorcycle, following which a minor blast took place after the car moved a few metres and then it caught fire.

"It was some kind of a magnetic device which was used to target the car."

He said three persons were injured in the incident and forensic teams are collecting samples of the explosives from the spot.

Gupta said the woman from Israeli Embassy, who sustained injuries in the blast, was stable.

Sources said it did not appear that a timer was used to trigger the explosion and instead a remote control could have been used.

They said the attack did not appear to be a handiwork of a local gang.

Iran won't target attacks in India, mate. This is one of the many loose cannons operating from a much closer location near us. We have a lot of their trash living in our country shielded by treacherous politicians.

Israeli embassy staff targeted: India assures Israel of complete probe

NEW DELHI: India today assured Israel of a complete investigation into the car blast incident here in which an Israeli diplomat was injured, saying it strongly condemns any incidents of violence.

Hours within the blast occurred in an Israeli embassy car, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna spoke to his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman, assuring him that the law of the land will take its course.

"I just came to know about the unfortunate incident a little while earlier in which a staff member's family woman of the Israeli embassy establishment was injured. She has been rushed into the hospital. We are awaiting further information about the well being of the woman," Krishna told reporters on the sidelines of a function.

Asserting that the country very strongly condemns such incidents, Krishna said it will be fully investigated and culprits will be brought to justice.

"I just spoke to the Israeli Foreign Minister and reassured that the law of the land will take its course. We will continue with the investigations and keep him posted about the progress of the investigation," he said.

An Israeli diplomat was in the embassy car when a suspected terror blast took place in it.
