Israeli Jew visits holy sites across Muslim world

This is why little Islamic knowledge is even more dangerous than having none.

It is in the Quran
O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise.

The Prophet met with them BEFORE they were banned from Makkah. After the conquest of Makkah, this never happened
Brother,are Jews polytheists?
Yes,they don’t believe in Prophet Muhammad (saw) being the last messenger. But still they are not polytheistic.

.
Why would there be hate against this civilized Jewish man? He talks about peace and stability. Who can hate this guy? The opposite pole of Jewish members on this site. We will love and promote this guy!

Jews are not friends of Muslims.

. .
Well to be perfectly honest , Jews have lived side by side Muslim governments in past. Their court cases are quite document in Prophet's time cases involving Jews / Muslims etc

It is perhaps the education , criculum in our society that does not covers the various interaction of Muslims with other civilizations and various pacts and agreements of last 1500 years. Our focus is merely on perhaps 50-100 years

And it is quite well documented how they lived in various Islamic civilizations in past.

The modern world views the Jewish dispora from view of last 200-350 years perhaps and more dominantly in last 100 years.

If a peson is attracted to Holy lands , it is not our job to say you can't visit who know he might become a Muslim by visiting some of the sites

  • A ban on visitation based on Military Espionage or Damage to civil order is a different matter and each country have their own rules and regulations on that respect

The present Age dislike of Israel is rooted in their extraordinary , aparthied government and way of treating other minorities such as Palestinians which is why they are excluded from invitation. It is a more less their modern time actions which have tainted their over all view in Muslim countries

The person who visited did they break civil law and order ? Perhaps becasue travel ban does exist on certain foreigners. This is noting more then a individual person taking extra ordinary risk to travel to restricted areas and nothing more

It is difficult to really say , if person is visiting due to sincerety and enlightenment or not ...

If None Muslim is interested to learn about Islamic culture or sites , we can't really just deny the person unless there was a valid reason or ill intent

From Muslim's point of view these are places of worship and not really tourist attraction and this there is a general backlash becasue places of worship in Muslim view are not places seen as Tourist attraction.

Really... enlighten me... give me one reference.

Noor ud din Zangi prevented the desecration of Messenger's grave. The culprits involved were Jews.

Edit: I cannot say with surety if the culprits involved were Jews or Christians, its history some say Jews some say Christians. The readers can find and read upon this themselves.

I thought non-muslims were not allowed to visit holy places in Mecca and Medina.

Noor ud din.. Isn't Quran or hadith... history... not relevant.

There is basis no for not allowing no-nmuslims. Open up the religion to tolerance and diversity.

.
he welcomed non Muslims in both Mecca and Madina after establishing the Muslim rule where they not only came to debate but also to ask questions.

The rule about non-muslims not being allowed to visit has less to do with intolerance and just general common sense. If holy sites were opened to anyone in the world Mecca and Medina would get an enormous amount of traffic from people, you would get hooligans messing around and pranksters thinking of doing something funny. But the huge amount of people would interfere with Muslims attempting to pray and finish sacred rituals. Can imagine how many people's hajj would be ruined if 5,000-10,000 non-muslims were running around taking up space and doing nothing marveling at the Kabba and all the praying Muslims?

Can you imagine the potential consequences of a tourist sitting on the top of the prophet's mosque like this one did on the pyramids? They would get lynched in minutes and their country of origin would be rocked by terrorist attacks.

If they can't respect Earth's last ancient Wonder than what will they respect?

Islam is open for everyone and anyone, nobody is stopping anyone from buying a copy of Quran and studying it. They can do that ......... it has got nothing to do with entry into Madina / Makkah.

However Entry into / exit from a country are not subject matter of Quran. Every country has its own regulations, like indians have this craze of limited medical visas for Pakistanis, or Americans don't like immigrants or whatever etc etc.

Still if you wish to be diverse then what you can do is let the indian Hindus visit Masjid Al Haram in Makkah .......... they have some sorts of claim on the stone there. Diversity will do wonders ..........

Sure, even hindus should be allowed into Masjid al haram... why not. The Prophet allowed idol worshippers into the mosque and treated them with respect. ... why not?

If not allowing no-nmuslims was such a big issue then the Quran or hadith would have made a mention of it... they don't... and actually the opposite is true.

.
That is true, but given his intentions I’m willing to show some respite.
He was there. Thats mean any body can get there. He was on xyz mission there. But someone can be bombing mission over there.
Second and the most important thing is: On what country's passport he was there in Saudia? Thirdly who was the guy taking these photos?
These "enlightened Muslims" are more dangerous than atheists.

9:17, 9:18 and 9:28 (Chapter 9 verses 17, 18 and 28) and then do read chapter 105 .............. somethings are there for our own good, you don't war with non Muslims and then proven cowards and cursed forever? Do you?

And from history ........... Laat Manat Uzza (the idols of Mushrikeen in Masjid E Haram) were thrown out once Makkah was taken control of.

Not sure how you short reference from the Quran has to do with allowing no-nmuslims from visiting mecca Medina... I don't see any correlation.

We aren't talking about putting idols back... we arent talking about people visiting...

They tried digging grave of Muhammad Peace be upon him in past, they tried attacking Kaba in the past. They lack true understanding of Islam and what it stands for, you cannot allow them in without a written contract, and in today's time you cannot make sure that everyone visiting there would behave. So once a breach of that contract and a nuisance is created in those places that won't be short of going to war ............ are you willing to take all this responsibility? Or you can simply prevent all this by keeping their visit to these places restricted ........ which is not harming any of their rights.
