It's not about moral, but about what is necessary? Hunting down the murderers was (although they should had done it with the Israelis that murdered a Palistinan boy too), but fuelling the situation into a war was not and there is no gain that Israel now gets from it. They risked the peace for revenge and that was not necessary!
