Mujahideen, I'd love to answer your post. But before i do, let me just brush up on my history of Israel/Palestine.

Please share your opinion, your histroy. You might have something which I dont know and I might learn something. But I personally think that my opinion on this issue, cant be changed no matter what you say, because I believe the problem is Israel and not the Palestinains, but nonetheless say what you have to maybe I wont agree but I am sure their are people who might, and I respect that.

Aren't we all ignorant. I know I am ignorant sometimes, but on certain things I am very open, I think this issue on Palestinians and Israelis is one of those issues where I am ignorant. Being ignorant is human nature. We want to hear what we believe, what sounds good to us.

To those who are critiszing the Palestinians, I ask you what would you do if your land was taken away, what would you do if a foreign force is constanly taking away you territory, violating the soverignty of you nation by flying is jets over you skies, what would you do if you couldn't even trade with the outside world, what would you do if you got no food? I dont know about you guys if someone does that in my country I expect my people to respond by a declaration of war. The Jews have always lived in Palestine but when Israel was created all the porblems started. I ask you how would you like it if a guest came to your house and said the house was his you can only use the bathroom and you are restircted to that area. The Palestinians aren't allowed to dig for a drinking well while the Israelis built huge pools. If Israel gives the Palestinains their land back and respects their soverignity, I gaurantee you that their will be peace in the Middle East, well atleast in that area, all these militants groups will disspear.

I'm not criticizing the Palestinians, I'm criticizing Hamas. It is indeed tragic what has happened to this nation of Palestine, which was a nice peaceful place before 1948. But the question now is, how do we move forward to find a solution to end the violence and form a Palestinian state? For peace to happen, Hamas and anyone else needs to stop trying to kill Israelis. Israel is not going to disappear, so the Palestinians will have to live with them side by side.

Firing a couple of rockets into Israel might kill a person or two, but the Israelis will come in with their tanks and F-16s and kill 10 Palestinian for every Israeli killed. This has been the cycle since 2000.

With all the terrorism going on in the world today, the US wants to create a Palestinian state to give peace and stability to that region. This is the reason that Hamas must absolutely give up it's violent ways, or else be destroyed by Palestinians themselves.

If not, Palestinians can keep living miserably till the day Israel kicks them into Egypt and Jordan and takes away all of their land.

now if palestinians really want war, ten they should organise themsleves, garner more world support to get more funds, buy better weapons than those cheap firecrackers they call rockets and then resist israel openly. it'll be better to fight like a lion and die than to do the cowardly acts they are doing now.

hamas are probably among the stupidest people on earth. what in blazes do they gain by firing unguided rockets at israel? for every hundred rockets fired they might hit somebody. what a waste of money! sometimes i wonder if israel is funding hamas to fire rockets into israel so israel can have an excuse to seize more land from palestine.

You are saying things without keeping the groud realities in mind. It was Israel which choose war not the Paleestinians, the Palestinians want peace. You talk of organizing getting better weapons, but you forget the Palestinians dont have an organized government, thus making it hard to organize an army or get weapons. Even the little aid they get comes through Israel and Israel ends up taking part of that aid. If you dont believe me try reading the book written by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, "Peace not Arparthied." This book gives you an insight on what the life of Palestinians is like.

India is a democracy and we value public opinion. but public opinion can be skewed if the govt spreads disinformation amongst the public. hamas is cutting power and stopping food supplies, and blaming the israelis. so obviously public opinion is against israel.

public opinion has value only when the public make the opinion without the govt's undue influence.
