I do not know why you people take everything on their face value- as is evident from the comments here.

This sale will go thru as America wants and as Israel wants and as Saudis will want desperate to pay an even higher price.

As America's strategic partner, Israel is adding value to the sales of high tech American stuff to S Arabia. - by appearing to oppose the deal. Saudis have no conflict with Israel.

Its more like something gets in the way when you want something, then you want it bad. Conversely the opposite will happen if you get something without any opposition, then you think of the price being high and bargain hard to lower prices or look around at what else is available on the market.

The first article is a hoax, Israeli's are applying reverse psychology, 60 billion US dollars from Saudi's will give a staggering boost to American economy & will also create thousands of jobs for Americans; a nation which is highly intolerant towards Muslims, not to mention which gives billions of US dollars aid to Israel annually, why would they have any reservations over this bonanza opportunity? Saudi's already have better fighter jets than Israeli's;Euro fighter. If the Saudi's have any brains they will not & shouldn't go for an all American military equipment worth 60 billion US dollars. But then again that's exactly what you can expect of Saudi's or other Arab states for that matter.

Game Plan:

Saudia -> Gives cash to US 60 billion dollars

US - > Economy gets boost the media still blasts Saudia

US -> Pumps the money into economy and also projects

Israel- > Israeli favoured US citizens will big on new projects
Once they will win it , they will move key development
to israeli defence companies

Israel-> Israeli defence companies will get R&D done on US
tax payer money , they will then sell the product to
India , and make $$$

US -> Will get a product developed , and Israel will know
all the weaknesses of this product already

Israel -> Will reinvest some of the cash for its Jewish lobby
which will of course play the media game to pressure
and support election of new president

Saudia -> Will get the 300 fighters in its fleet , and in due time
Army general will take over Saudia

Israel -> Will then get F35 on loan deals , which later will be waived
off, and also Israel will create its own stealth planes

US -> Will probbly be able to recover its 800 billion dollar in bail
out cash as follow

100 billion dollar deals with Saudia , protection from iran
50 billion dollar deals with UAE, protection from iran
50 billion dollar deals with Japan, protection from china
50 billion dollar deals with Korea , protection from NKorea

US oil companies will earn 200 billion over 3-4 years
in profits from Iraqi oil.

Mean while US economy will generate 200 billion in 5 years

Old news, This time israel can do nothing, previously in clinton era billions of dollars worth deal fell apart because of israel, that deal was for 100+ F-16s.

This time around the deal is going to take place and its going to be huge with re-upgrades of current F-15s to perhaps SE standards plus possibilities of F-15SE since israel is going for F-35s. I am not buying the news of blocking the deal, us desperately wants to make money.

Believe me 60 billion won't go to US alone...probably a billion or more will be paid to Saudi Princes in kickbacks and i am sure US administration has hand in Israeli Opposition they might have asked Israel to do that and then ask Saudis that unless you pay very high price our senators will not let the deal pass through.At the end of the day monarchy of Saudi Arabia has to distribute money to prices so their way of legitimization that is by doing huge defense deals etc and Western Countries are all part of this corruption you know how Tony Blair canceled investigation into Saudi Arms Deals?I admire the Western Countries for their hypocrisy but hey anything for national interests!

$60 Billion is exaggerated figure it could be around $25 billion or $60 billion over the next 15 years and that makes sense.
