Israel considers west bank and Gaza to be the land of their ancestors , having their roots there. Hence they would hold on to that land till the end of the world. The pragmatic solution would be to demarcate a territory within the territories currently under Israeli control where a separate Palestinian state with all characteristics of a state not just the token jurisdiction of the current Palestinian Authority can be applied.

Im sorry bro i dont salute any thread which brings up slums and poverty. All our countries have this and we pray things improve. To mock and make light of anyones poverty isnt clever or appreciated by any sane person. Whether people are starving in India Pakistan or Bangladesh it doesnt matter. Its a sad thing to bring up.

Some of the topmost members in the PLO have been of Christian background. Palestinians' is a human cause, supported by a vast majority of the world population. Even in the EU there is public-level support for the Palestinian statehood.

If people want even more evidence of what I say here then can check-out the 'comments' section of the NY Times today: That newspaper is one of the most pro-Israeli major news-paper in America but the 'comments' reflect a large support for Palestinian statehood.
