TBH thats a blessing
1 Pakistani protest harm people more then doing anything good.
In this case the only thing which can actually do something is Military not people.
2 Military is more focused on Afghanistan, India and whats happening internally in Pakistan.
3 you have not seen any major statementsn from Molvis and other parties , while PTI since in power had stayed in line with what most countries are saying.
Main reason is following KSA and UAE since majority funding comes from these states molvies dont want to make masters angry.
Military knows taking any action 1 will be expensive need on ground support from arabs which is none existence so no point in making worse since its already bad with uncle sam and more focused internally.
4 PMLN , PPP same as molvies funding and all black money goes through these states so they are dependent on them

Hamas tried to attack Israel's gas installations

Both rockets and suicide drones were used to hit Israel's strategic assets.

Hamas has fired rockets towards Israel’s gas installations in the Mediterranean since violence between terror groups in the Gaza Strip and the IDF broke out on Monday.

While none of the rockets came close to reaching the installations, they have been placed at their lowest functioning out of precaution.


Israel has several gas installations and the Tamar gas field’s production platform stands just 25 kilometers off the coast of southern Israel.

In May 2019 during another violent round which saw Hamas and PIJ launch 690 rockets and mortars towards Israel over the span of less than 48 hours, Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz ordered the suspension of natural gas supplies from the Tamar field over concerns that it could be targeted.

The latest round of fighting, which broke out on Monday after Hamas fired several rockets towards Jerusalem, has seen the terror group try to attack the country’s gas installations, strategic assets for Israel, with both rockets and suicide drones.

While the rockets did not need to be intercepted as they were not close to striking the platforms, an Israel Air Force F-16 downed a drone at the beginning of the operation.

According to a senior military official, only one out of tens of thousands of rockets fired towards such an installation would be able to hit it. Nevertheless, should the terror group succeed in hitting one, that would be viewed as a major achievement.


Israel is highly dependent on the sea with over 90% of Israel’s imports arriving via the Mediterranean. And while the country’s navy is relatively small compared to other IDF corps, it has a significant amount of territory to protect.

Since Operation Protective Edge in 2014 both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have significantly expanded their naval units, building an arsenal to include naval commandos, jet skis, autonomous submarines, explosive commando ships, precision drones and more.

Drones are too slow to target a protected installation. Rockets are fast but unguided thus ineffective against a strategic target like this.

However something like a drone-rocket hybrid can be developed with folding wings attached to a rocket body. If it is launched at the same time with a rocket salvo it can breach into iron dome and hit this type of a target. It needs to have a fly-straight mode as jamming can break command guidance. We know folding wings from sdbs and glide bombs. It needs to be attached on top of the rocket and have some command uplink with ins fly straight mode if command is lost. This can be developed and small numbers can be transferred to Hamas,PIJ and other groups by countries having this kind of capability supporting Palestinian resistance.

Meanwhile Hezbollah should beef up with high altitude portable air defenses and cluster rockets. it is difficult for israel to stop arms shipments while being busy at south front. As the conflict prolongs it will be riskier for israel or even Usa(israel would be hurt too much from cluster munitions and fuel bombs) to ignite a war against Labennon and they will be forced to ceasefire. Something like Russia beefing up at the border forced the ceasefire in the Donbass region of Ukraine. Sisi govt needs to be pressured by muslim countries to open borders and reduce checks if israel does not accept ceasefire and continues bombing.
