The only influence that can be done by the weak (similar to the Montgomery bus boycott) with any hope of bringing about real change is an economic boycott of the companies doing business on occupied land. The UN has a list of more than a 100 companies doing business there. If Muslim countries are serious, actually serious, they just need to quietly promote alternative brands and dissuade people from buying those foreign brands. No official boycott or open support for it, just word of mouth/social media grassroots. Shop owners sell out of their stocks of a product and just don’t renew their contracts. Consumer products in countries with high population growth start to show a decline, the companies will take notice.

It will also encourage Muslim countries to trade more amongst themselves. These alternative companies if they grow large enough can fund factories and production plants in the occupied territories with the Palestinians to make up for the loss of employment working for the occupiers.
