Sometimes, when enough blood is shed, these kinds of solutions are simply not possible, and that's why we have kinetic force. Its only until pain is felt for ISRAEL, not just Gaza where a diplomatic solution can be reached. If it's a cake walk for the Israelis, theirs not incentive for diplomacy.

That would be very risky of them, if they do it will lead to a long term regional conflict. I expect Netanyahu to say he ordered massive operations or something of that sort. With ground invasion on the table.

Hamas did not issue any new statements yet, I am following developments closely.

I am not discussing kashmir here. We can have discussion about it in another thread.

The whole issue started when Israel started grabbing territory after 1948 from the same people who took them in when everyone else denied. The West puts blame on Hamas by making Palestinians a monolith entity which hates jews for being jews. This stereotype is single most reason why people continue to blame Hamas while totally ignoring that Palestinian Christians have been siding with Muslims and even chanting Allah o Akbar in all protests. If this was totally a muslim vs Jew phenomenon, Christians would have never sided with Muslims in Palestine and orthodox jews would not be burning Israeli flag every year. I have quoted UN statement after this issue which clearly states who is aggressor and who is committing war crimes for any sane person to know that comparing Hamas to IDF is unfair in many ways.

First of all I am not so much fond of Israel and have pragmatic views on such issues, I also fairly understand what Israel and the UN were established for. But leaving those things aside, Jerusalem is the birthplace of Judaism and Jews have rightful claim over it. And it is also an established fact that Israelis never start a fight with Hamas but only retaliate in self self defence. This is why I am saying if Hamas stops it's attacks against Israel then there will be no attacks frim IDF too.
