BullCrap, Is that why Musharaf categorically said, No independent state of Kashmir. In the end of the day, Its all about Land; and I am talking about both sides.

No independent Kashmir, because Kashmiris cant handle it. Plus, there are not many people in favor of an independent Kashmir. Majority wants to becomes Pakistanis.

if kashmir gets independence then you have splintered the region. with the only corridors through india and pakistan it would stay deadlocked. But I agree with webmaster. A province which has been terrorized for decades can not become democratic suddenly... I would prefer kind of United states of Asia (USA) with both Pakistan and India (and BD) as one... And add to that a NATO kind of link with China... Then it becomes suddenly the most important region... Bye bye rest of the world!

It is a ugly reality. The reason the nations was divided still linger today.

Maybe you should read up, How the same Kashmir situation with reverse, ie is Muslim ruler and Majority Hindu Subjects wanted to side with Pakistan, but was annexed by India. Pakistan tried the same in kashmir but lost.

Valuable Land, Bangladesh is no way valuable strategically or economically.Kashmir, Azad Kashmir that is not, in the Indian interest nor is India ready to scarifice her men for it. They are pretty happy with the status quo. If you are talking about India that is.

Pakistan dont have resources in the logistical sense to annex Bangladesh. Kashmir cant be annexed from India, Its the simple truth, without sounding arrogant we are more than capable of holding you off.
