what's the significance of having those red roof tops in that pic? it looks different...

None. Probably the construction contractor had too much red paint or red tiles.
It is just red roof tiles of the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Neve Tzedek. The red in the photo that you are referring to is probably got over saturated by post process. In reality it look more like in these photos depending on light condition:

yeah now the colour is clear.....before i was like why would they choose a red colour which is so annoying to eyes and a disaster to use for the exterior of a house in a very hot weather there....It is just red roof tiles of the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Neve Tzedek.
