Pakistanis have China as a good friend that gives them support and weapons technology etc we have Israel for that and many other countries as well and @ reading some of the Kargil war comments on here you seem to forget by the time Nawaz Sharif asked the USA to intervene (July 1999) we had captured 80% of the lost territory and counter attacks were picking up momentum the reasons for the Pakistani withdrawal was because of growing international pressure and a grim military scenario

What a lot of Pakistanis and the rest fail to understand is that the Indian and Israeli relationship has stood and will stand the test of time and terrorist. What they also fail to understand is that this relationship is very deep, its not just based on military, it has a lot to do with India providing the Jews a safe haven when they were persecuted in the Middle East.

The Jews escaped to India and were welcomed into India by the Hindu and Muslim kings, the Jews were made a part of the family and it's why to this day no Jew has ever been persecuted in India. It's the foundation of the India-Israeli friendship and why it is going from strength to strength, no matter how much the Muslims cry about it nothing is going to change it, Israeli even understands why India needs to buy oil from Iran, if it was any other country Israeli would be worried about it.

Our relations with Israel should have been similar to Turkey. Have relations with Israel, but condemn Israel when it needs to be condemned.

btw now even india is also slowly increasing distances from isreal and turning towards muslim world. our purpose of getting cutting edge military radars and some equipment from isreal is almost done. india now has made everything that it once wanted from isreal examples: swordfish, awacs and avionics. the situation now is very different than it was 3 yrs ago.

muslim world has a huge population and we want to increase trade with iran, saudis, pakistan, africa and others in a big way. isreal is not that imp anymore in indian foreign relations. its a very small country and has no strategic and bilateral benefits for india.

I think dude..you are not in touch with reality..The difference between now and in the past is that when BJP was in power it was publicizing the relation with Israel and when congress is in power it is not doing much publicity about Indo Israeal relation. But the bottom line is that Indo Israel relation is running bussiness as usual...
