Did India have good enough ties with Israel in the early 80s?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but What I always thought was the India always had good ties with Egypt for a very long time and that diplomatic relations did not start until 1992.

I suppose it still would've been possible for clandestine cooperation.



In any case, Pakistan still has a reason to be concerned with Israel, as in the past Lieberman, the Israeli FM called Pakistan a threat because of its nuclear weapons.
