Sure, it was their right to reject or accept the plan. Look at how their decision worked out for them. The that backed them were all defeated too, leaving them stateless. And even now, if they want their own state, they will have to accept the partition. Back to square one.

The consequences are injustice

Hurting and punishing a weak and innocent people because they wont bow down and accept theft of their homes and lands

Muslims should fight this injustice as a matter of principle and punish the jews for their crimes
