Israel BOYCOTTS Turkish resorts, coffee after exercise cancellation

.
And so the chain reaction begins...

For the first time in Israel's history, we're seeing such condemnation from both sides. The diplomatic relations between Turkey and Israel have always been quite smooth compared to the other countries in the region. Turkey's tough stance on the Israeli occupation of Palestine will lead to a new change in the middle-east. I'm curious to see how Turkey will respond to this new development.

these Israelis need strong lessons at managing foreign affairs...!
what good would boycotting coffee houses do?
why do they want to pi$$ the only muslim nation tolerant to them?

The Likud-led Israeli government is at present incompatible with the perceived interest and the prevailing mood of the World Plutocracy.

Even the neo-cons are finding their former partners "inconvenient".

This show may go on for some time ...

Why something like this happend? Turkey could easily transfer the technology from the west to boost the Turkey military industry! In my opinion it was too early for such thing to happend! I think this will also affect the Turkey relationship with the EU and in long run their membership in EU if they want to continue like this.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer!

Israel boycotts Turkish resorts, coffee

Turkey's firm stance against Israel over its war crimes in the Gaza Strip has prompted Israeli officials to boycott Turkish coffee and vacations.

Yossi Levy, a senior official with Israel's national carrier ElAl, has told Army Radio that his employee association and those of several other major Israeli businesses plan to stop subsidizing vacations for their workers to Turkey during the Passover holiday, AFP reported.

Normally, during the holiday next April, some 80,000 Israelis should visit Turkish resorts.

A large Israeli cafe chain has also decided to stop selling Turkish coffee.

"We have decided for the time being to stop selling 'Istanbul coffee' -- our Turkish coffee blend, and we shall keep doing it until matters improve," Michael Steg, director of marketing for the Ilan coffee shop chain, told the Ynet news website.

The boycott moves come as a response to a Turkish state television series that began airing last week that depicts Israeli soldiers deliberately killing Palestinian children, the latest incident to sour relations between Israel and Turkey.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday slammed Israel as a "persecutor" that has attacked civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Turkey's population is over ten times higher than that of Israel which has a population of about seven million and in the case that "boycott war" breaks out between the two, Israel's defeat seems guaranteed.
