No, to the contrary, it is not a failure at all. In fact it is a huge success. If you would like to take the emotional path and weep over the few hundreds or maybe thousands who died then you need to look at the bigger picture.

And peace initiative is after all not really "peace" initiative if you think about it for a while which I do invite you to do so.

So what is this "bigger picture" that makes these civilian casualties acceptable somehow?

this is beyond getting out of control. Israel is not hunting hamas there. They are killing all of the people of palestine in an effort to end this once and for all. This is mass genocide and the world cant do anything to stop them. I am sure had it been Iran all of nato would have attacked them and just like before UN has once more shown that its the most useless organization in existence and is completely powerless.
Soo many deaths and the world stays quite which shows its hypocrisy.

News is that people only took shelter in that school after the Israelis told them to. In sum, Israel is leading people out of their homes and then bombing them. Hamas was right in telling people they shouldn't heed Israel's warnings - they're not only psychological warfare, they're also part of a plot to bomb the most Gazans with the smallest number of bombs.
