They have tried War with Israel, they have tried boycotting Israel with "The Three No's"; No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel. Plight of Palestine hasn't changed, so maybe its time for a new approach? Iran is suffering under a lot of sanctions, some of it due to enmity with Israel for the sake of Palestinians when the Gulf Arabs don't even care anymore. Muslim world is better off in peace and prosperity than in poverty, war, sanctions.Well it's up to the people of these countries not my business ... who has asked them?
By the way as you said back in 78 Egypt got back its Sinai .. Jordan got back some area in west Bank in 94 .. what these people have gained in return? for Palestine?
Secondly the UAE, Bahrain , Qatar even Saudis had already established their relations with isreal for years behind the curtain so what is new which is taken as peace talks? just helping Trump and Bibi staying in power?
Third when on Earth we saw a war btw Oman, Bahrain , the UAE and israel that you call it peace?
At last how many round of talks have been held btw isreal and Palestine? Arafat was killed and Abbas has gone crazy due impossibility of the task ...
The issue would not got solved unless justice takes place. but I wonder how you guys planning to have peace with someone that is after destruction of the mosque?

When they officially announce normalization of relations? meeting is different ...
I agree, EGYPT shattered Israeli's confidence in 1973 war so Israel had to return Sanai. In 2020 what should Syria do to get back Golan? They should try to see if a deal can be made like Egypt and Jordan. No amount of peace posturing from Palestinian side will win them a viable state with East Jerusalem as capital. Israelis will not allow to slip off West Bank(which practically 95% of proposed Palestinian state) of its control. Sinai was a different thing. Israel was forced to return that territory to knock out the most powerful Arab military from the equation of Arab-Israeli war. They understood very well, if they neutralize Egypt with peace treaty, then there will be no future Arab attack on them. To remove their existential threat, they paid price by returning not it's own territory but by giving back internationally recognized Egypt's territory to it's rightful owner.
Without creating credible pressure on Israel, there will be no peace in Middle East, which rest on just solution to the Palestinian question. And credible pressure can only be applied by United States, which US will never do. So what Palestinian do here is irrelevant.
