ISPR release Pictures and footage from Indian Drone

@Windjammer

You don't have to create so 'sensational' news about it.
Those things are available on Flipkart. Minimum age it says 12 years.. Do you qualify ?

Ascom is the authorized Indian dealer for these things. They are, in truest sense of the word, childrens' toys.

If you were genius enough to read it's characteristics you'd know that it has
a) a camera for taking pictures
b) a gps for stabilization and tracking purposes along with other gadgets...

also if you are not piss poor as most indians and actually own a smart phone, you should take a picture with it and then go in properties... there you will find the date, type of your phone... and similar info... this probably is called as exif information and is retrievable... computer experts can extract and probably the average know how guys too...

Man, these shameless people have been truly exposed.
All these staged dramas and playing to the media has come calling home.
God in heaven knows who did they killed in that Fishing Boat drama.
This is how a typical India appears.

its show how much professional indian army is they have not to record anything unless UAV crossed LOC to pakistani side . they must record only pakistani side .

Point being Indian army guys were playing with toys....I rest my case..

And using it for spying on local border posts...

I'll give it to the Indian Army though, using cheap disposable, commercially available stuff for this sort of unit level recce, good idea.

Bring it on dudes !

This is certainly not a one sided investigation for sure !
we of course won't hand it to geniuses who cant control their own drone, let's give it to western analysts... peace :)

These things have endurance of 10 mins, runs on AA batteries and according to them they have effective control upto only 300 metres, which will very much likely reduce with obstacles.
Here, check it out.

Highly unlikely that even I will use it to spy upon that hot nurse in my neighbourhood, let alone across the border.

Robomart DJI Phantom Quadcopter
Don't hit the Buy button though..
They deliver only in India :P

@nForce , Since lies are habitual to young kids, you obviously don't qualify for one of these.
Your media was calling it a ''Selfie'' by Pakistan , while your warlords were claiming , it belonged to Pakistani Motorway Police or even Rangers.
Indians weren't accepting it as one of theirs.
You are well and truly BUSTED.

I was very vocal and adament that ISPR/Army take screen grabs or bits from the SD card of the GoPro camera mounted on the destroyed indian quad-rotor. Glad they finally did so.

Of course indians will continue to deny as one would expect them to but the writing is on the wall.

At least one is always rest-assured that Army + the specialists of Army Air Defense are wide awake and rather vigilant.

thanks for the Eid gift, india

There is nothing in those photos that can't be staged.
