Rawalpindi - November 14, 2013:
Namaz-e-Jinaza of Major General Naushad Ahmed Kayani (Late), who breathed his last on November 9, was offered today at Rawalpindi. General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Army Staff, Parliamentarians, and a large number of senior serving and retired officers from three services, other ranks and people from all walks of life attended Namaz-e-Jinaza. Late Major General Naushad was buried with full military honour at Army Graveyard, Racecourse Rawalpindi. Major General Naushad Ahmed Kayani (Late) was commissioned in Army in 1982. He was promoted Major General in 2010 and appointed DGMI . He is survived by a widow, three daughters and a son.
