ISPR launches 'Har Ghari Tayyar Kamran' as tribute to martyrs on Defence Day

RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Army’s Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has paid homage to the nation’s martyrs and heroes with the song "Har Ghari Tayyar Kamran” on the occasion of Defence Day.

Defence Day is celebrated with national enthusiasm and patriotism every year on September 6 across Pakistan. On the same day in 1965, the brave protectors of the nation responded to Indian aggression and successfully repulsed their military attack. On this day, every Pakistani is proud of the bravery, patriotism and defence capabilities of the army and it is also an assurance that the security of the motherland is in worthy hands.

ISPR has released the remake song to pay homage to the heroes and martyrs of September 6, 1965, keeping in view the public aspirations and spirit. The song was released on ISPR’s YouTube channel. As soon as it was published, the song went viral on social media with thousands of people viewing it and paying tribute to the sacrifices of the nation’s protectors.

The song "Har Ghari Tayyar Kamran" has been popular since the 80’s and resonates with every Pakistani citizen. The song was originally written by Zafarullah Chashni and composed by Niaz Ahmed while singer Khalid Waheed was the vocalist.

The remake song has Ali Azmat, Ali Hamza, Ali Noor and Asim Azhar in the music video shot in Pakistan Military Academy Kakul.

Look, I just speak for myself - can't really speak for others 'cause there are people in this World that actually like Sahir Ali Bagga.

The problem is that these people (ISPR & Singers) don't really take this stuff seriously.

When a Singer(s)/song is commissioned for an event, it shouldn't be something that should be fast tracked.

Q. How many people remember the song from last year without Googling it?

Now, if you take a song like...

...you get the sense how much planning went into its production. Though some may question the lyrics or even the hard beat, but as I recall, the Military isn't something that should be represented or labelled soft - unless you're doing a segment on the fallen/martyred soldiers.

For that, I would recommend...

We have some great talent that can actually come out with some great content, but the problem is that youth (that have talent) aren't getting a shot at the big stage. The commercial success talent (e.P and Call the Band) have moved away from the music scene onto the small/silver screen.

So what you're actually left with are the C/D Class nobody's coming up with something that you get the feeling was prepared overnite while Tikka Boti.

Even a well known singer such as Atif Aslam's song (Shaheen-e- Pakistan) from last year was subpar.

Why, you may ask. Well, perhaps the ISPR/Air Force/Navy really don't cough up the big bucks for their services and these guys think the free publicity on behalf of the most beloved entity in Pakistan.

yes it is very obvious with the quality of air force videos

I'd give it a B+.

I think it's going in the right direction, which for me is more important right now than the output.

We are (1) reviving old classics and (2) tuning them correctly using orchestral instruments. In this case, I would have omitted the guitar and rock/pop element, and stick to the up-beat classical live instruments.

On the visuals, I wish they had invested more in capturing new high quality footage. Like most of our videos, there's a lot of re-patching from older music videos. The best way I think is recording some 500 hours raw, and then using that pool to create a huge variety of videos, etc. Perhaps even upload 100-200 hours online for enthusiasts to use for their own projects.
