How would these countries will identify religious Bigot? If You are pointing for all Muslims then you are being Islamophobic.

Not that I condone terrorist attacks. I condemn them, and I wish the terrorists a nasty agonizing death.

But its still scary that people are now generalizing, and saying discriminating things about Muslims in general (because of the actions of a few), when vast majority of them are law abiding citizens and just want to go on about their lives.

It varies with age tbh, like the person said if you keep tabs on politics then it's different but in person not really. The students in my uni are very aware of what is going on. You have the uneducated ones, those who pig out from the government and shout all this nonsense but it does become a concern when you see colleagues/friends who are decent people or are in professional capacities venting their feelings about Muslims or Islam...

Well, if the media stops interviewing Anjem Ch as some expert in Islam when he doesnt even have the basic certificates in Islam....when such people are who spew hatred are the only interest of the media please do tell me how to go about and show that the everyday Muslim is not with him?

We condemn in every way in our small circle of friends for that is how far we are allowed...How many of us who are practicing Muslims and can shut up such people allowed on media?

Its the same in Sweden. Here I think people associate immigration and Muslims. Its not immigration per se that they oppose in its entirety. They oppose immigration from Muslim countries.

Being Islamophobic?

Islam, like Christianity, is not a homogenous religion. It is divided into many traditions, the main ones being Sunni, Shi'ite, and Sufi.

A very small, radical, hate-filled, extremist, fundamentalist, terrorist wing does exist. Many of its followers follow a fundamentalist version of Islam called Wahhabi. However, Islam also has a much larger peaceful, moderate wing. Unfortunately, the former seem to capture all the media's attention, while the latter is rarely heard from or discussed by non-Muslims.

It obvious that no one individual speaks for all Muslims. Islam has no single central human authority, comparable to the pope and Vatican for the Roman Catholic Church, or to various General Assemblies and the Lambeth Conferences for the Anglican Communion. Rather, it is divided into many traditions and schools.

When you follow only one book then all these schools interpret the book differently. Islam is know for very conservative t
religious teachers. they all teach that questioning book is not acceptable and person should be killed.

Not only are we ready for clash of civilization, we are actively working to make it happen. The Russians and Chinese have proved to the world that they are cowards who fear confronting the West. They also share similiar views against us.

We will never forget the mass beheadings of Algerians by the colonalists. They need to know that their support of a 50 year occupation. They allowed the Jews to use their nations as bases to unleash their venom towards every Arab nation. They hate us and want war with us.

They need to know that they are pushing the buttons of the most dangerous people in the world. Every adult Muslim male needs to tonight begin spiritually preparing themselves for war. Worst part is, the freedom and European societal construct and culture the right wing parties claim to want to preserve, will probably see it's death the day the right wing get what they want.

Picture this: Muslims are destroying our wonderfully tolerant culture, to deal with this problem and preserve our culture, lets become less tolerant and kick them out. And you see, the entire point of preserving the initial culture is lost.

Not to mention, shifts like this tend to worsen relations between people and communities. Don't be fooled, the UK is right in the middle of this shift, UKIP are on the rise for a reason, the Tories are going out of their way to be even more conservative, no religion is as openly bashed as Islam is, it's open bashing, and it's very acceptable and rational by the looks of it.

Their policies towards our regions in past century has brewed a new generation which fears nothing and has nothing to lose. If the Muslim communities themselves begin to police such people even within their localities, then the extremists won't last long. Within a decade the image of Muslims will have changed. But first, people have to report such suspicious ones living within their communities.

I have observed that Islamophobia, along with general xenophobia and openly voicing anti immigrant sentiments, are increasingly becoming more acceptable and mainstream in the UK, for instance, they tend to regularly feature during dinner time conversations in cozy champagne socialist circles (the ultimate bastion of political correctness) and this trend is only going to get worse with this latest attack. In my view, much of the blame for this rests squarely with the Muslims in the West due to their failure to integrate or stand up to extremists in their midst..

You cannot hold each individual Muslim responsible for the acts of a handful. Besides, the vast majority of Muslims live peacefully and pay their taxes. On a different note, it's not as simple as you're portraying it to be. Much of the blame rather lies with the Western governments. How is it possible for disgruntled youth to openly catch a flight to war torn destinations and join the fight without being detained? It's not like only a handful went over there. There are hundreds and conceivably thousands of them. Also, this has been happening for quite a while now. They are closely watched by your intelligence agencies. Not only that, these warmongers safely return to their homes after waging bloodshed in foreign lands. Also, they are recruited in your lands. It's either that the establishment is complicit or incompetent. This cannot be happening unknowingly. No one can convince me otherwise. That would be the biggest intelligence failure in the history of mankind.

PS. Have the Western governments turned a blind eye to the war fought in Syria? Is it deemed in their interest?

its quite upsetting.... I wish to believe you are wrong ... but I cant because I have similar observation. BTW, make no mistake.. I say this to stupid hindu/sikhs who think they are going to be treated better... we will will be in same boat... right wing racist people just find it easier to blame muslims.. they hate all immigrants..
