He was an aid worker and veterinarian. He was involved in a NGO with the duty of helping farmers breed and raise animals. He was married and had a daughter. He was stated to be a hardworking professional committed to his duty. The reason why so much interest has risen has more to do with the fact that a westerner was killed in what was a planned attack.
