Islamic State release video showing beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians

Which double standard? I don't follow the West blindly. Just because I don't consider the West (as in most governments and people) as mortal enemies of Arabs. We disagree on Syria. No need to discuss it anymore. I am against both the Al-Assad regime and Daesh. Both need to go if Syria has to move forward.

Not really.

I don't really follow any political ideology. I like elements of conservatism, liberalism, socialism, Islamism, Arab nationalism etc. My views are not static either.

I am not a monarchist just because I respect certain Arab monarchs and families.

I see that you keep trolling against the Jordanian royal family. Not sure what your problem with them is? They are some of the most sensible leaders in the Muslim world and a humble family.

---------

Ok, to sum it up in a few sentences very quickly (I don't have the time or will to get into details nor am I a politician);

I believe in Arab cooperation and brotherhood which most Arabs also believe in by nature. It's especially needed nowadays due to the past 3-4 years of chaos/unrest.

I value Arab traditionalism. Meaning a strong family structure, a collective consciousness of shared values, patriotism, loyalty, generosity, the well-being of the richest and most influential man/woman but also the well-being of the poorest and least influential man/woman in the society.

I value our Islamic values. At the same time respecting our ancient minorities in the Arab world. Christian Arabs for instance should not be discriminated against or targeted.

At the same time I am flexible in the sense that I have no problems with people who disagree with my views.

I like the welfare states in the GCC and Scandinavia and would like to see the wealth be distributed more equally among people in the average Arab country.

In terms of foreign policy then I believe in cooperation with countries of shared values (mostly Arab and Muslim countries) but in general economic cooperation should occur with every friendly country. I am pragmatic here.

So I am probably an Arab Muslim conservative-liberal if there is such a thing……My views are too many and too complex often though.
Syrians only and only Syrians decide, if they wanted Alasad gone he would have been gone long time ago... we Syrians against removing him by force, we saw what happens to countries that their leaders were removed by force... only chaos and destruction ... Alasad must be part of the solution for NOW... and if Syrians want him gone, then we can remove him simply by ballot boxes... not by killing our own people and destroying our country... it is not your business to say if Alasad must stay or leave... you would have a say if you were genuine, for example you supported Palestine the same way you supported the F$A terrorists in Syria...

and as long the west have puppets in the Arab world, the Arab would will always be in chaos... remove the west influence, and watch Arabs advance and prosper...

The Syrians on the ground will decide their future. They don't need me or anybody else when that hour comes. As an Arab though I will have an opinion on events in the Arab world.

I don't see a future for the Al-Assad regime in Syria just like I don't see a future for Daesh in Syria. I mean if the end goal is a better Syria.

I support Palestine and Palestinians 100%. Just because I use common sense in the process does not make my support any less. Just because I do not neglect humanitarian aid etc.

I am not responsible for what Arab and Muslim leaders do and say.

Well, I have to believe in peace between Palestinians and Jews and thus ultimately Arabs and Jews. It's difficult to imagine that currently under Netanyahu and due to Israel's violations but what is the alternative really? You tell me. A realistic one.

The Arab world is the center of the world. Located between Europe, the remaining Africa, Asia and major seas and ancient trade routes. Europe is our direct neighbor. We cannot isolate ourselves from the West. The Arab world and the West has mutually influenced each other long before Islam.

The Arab world is not some small isolated island in the Pacific Ocean. If Western influence ends then it will be replaced with Russian and Chinese influence.

In the ideal world the Arab world would not rely on any outsiders and its relations with allies/partners/foreigners in general would occur on more equal terms.

Due to the unrest and lack of political unity this cannot take place for now at least.

your opinion about Alasad staying or leaving is worthless... you have no say at all... Syrians only and only Syrians decide... plant that in your brain, maybe you will understand the situation better...

you support Palestine, a lot of countries do, but what I meant by genuine is that the same way your country supported F$A terrorists by sending weapons and fighters, it could have done to help to Palestine, but of course, you can't because of the west...

and when I said remove the west influence, I meant west's control... not cutting business and etc.. and I would rather have Russia and China influence, at least they work for us Arabs, unlike the west's where it works for Israel... sovereignty and Independence is respected by Russia and China, unlike the west's and Israel...

Israel is not obligated to any peace initiative, you know why? there is no threat against it, every country that opposed Israel is getting destroyed or already destroyed... thus Israel is now happy with this chaos happening in the Arab world, and it is done by "Arabs" themselves...

you are so worried about Peace with Israel , yet you are against Peaceful solution in Syria, you want bloodshed and war... :disagree:

No it's not worthless. The Syrian people rely on fellow Arabs help to oust the brutal genocidal Al-Assad maniac.

Did you know that 10 times as many Syrians have been killed in the Syrian civil war (4 years) as people in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict for the past 50 years? So yes, my main focus is on Syria. Peace in Syria and elsewhere will make us focus on Palestine/Israel.

No, I can't because I am not a ruler in any Arab country neither are you.

Nobody is arming Palestine. @Falcon29 will explain.

Where have I said that cooperation with Russia or China is bad? I am just telling you not to be naive. If West would loose their influence in the Arab world it would be replaced by other influence. The Arab world is weak and fragmented currently. That's why you see such situations occurring.

So wanting Daesh and the Al-Assad regime out is "being against peace".:cuckoo::o:o_O

Anyway we have to end it here for now.

supporting peace is basically what Russia is trying to do, bring both parties to the table, however the western puppets of course refuse that... you want Daesh out? simple, end supporting terrorists in Syria, and Daesh will be out in month...

and you have no say in Syria, no matter who you are, and you're an "Arab" not a real Arab...

yes lets forget Palestine, and all of the exodus of Palestinians... because of Syria's war... all this bloodshed in Syria is caused by the west and their puppets.. again look at Syria 2010 and Syria now...

supporting peace in Syria means ending all the supporting to the F$A and AQ terrorists... it is simple as that...

SYRIA IS FOR SYRIANS ONLY!

did I say all Muslims are terrorists or terrorist supporters, but I would bet it's a good 5% to 10% that do.

and that's just to many.

but if the shoe was on the other foot and Christians were doing this and supporting it even 0.1% would be to much to set the Muslim world off.

and most attacks on Muslims are from an individual not an entire group of people.

Hogwash. You have 50 million Evangelical Christian Zionists who support the expulsion of Palestinians from their ancestral homeland, to be replaced by Jews coming from all over the world. I am not making that up, your religious leaders such as Pat Robertson, Phillip Graham, and John Hagee and many others sanction this genocide on religious terms. They misrepresent the Bible and quote some verses which they say Judea and Samara were given to Jews and the Palestinian people should be evicted in order to facilitate the return of Jesus.

You also had a sitting president George W Bush junior who in 2003 told former French President Jacques Chirac that he was going to invade Iraq because Gog and Magog are coming out of Iraq. More than a million people have lost their lives as a result of that unjustified and illegal invasion. Millions more were wounded, orphaned, and made refugees. The tragedy caused by that extremist war is still in progress.

Finally, your claim that 5% to 10% Muslims is a bogus number that was created by Islamophobes like Daniel Pipes, Robert Spencer, Frank Gaffney, and Brigitte Gabriel. These group of people run around in the USA, propagating Islamophobia, and accuse the US Government being infiltrated by Muslim Brotherhood. It really can't weirder than that. These are the same group of people who came up the idea that Obama is a Muslim. Every thing they say is false, they never care about facts, all they do is to get TV time, and unfortunately American media facilitates them.

Why not move back to Syria and Pakistan and help create anti-Western regimes there? I don't understand it.

I though you would have worked it out ;)

As an internet warrior you dont get sand in your bigmac, you dont have to worry about snipers getting to the mall you can be a brave jihadist and still have 100 channels on cable and play your Xbox after an afternoon telling the world why its all the fault of the west.
But number one you can be a hero but dont have to bleed.

.
I'm blaming your government, and your people for staying silent, why would you allow your government to support terrorism?

look at Libya now, and Libya before the war, do you think those Christians would have been executed in 2009?
This is all nato's fault, and every person that stayed silent...
and now the same thing is going on in Syria, your government are training, and supporting the same terrorists

i dont think so. sorry but i believe we just should try to make the best out of it.

All we did was remove a couple of dictators. The fact that the people in these countries couldn't get together and come up with a reasonable compromise for governance is not a indictment of our actions, but rather an indictment of their collective character. For the record, I was dead set against supporting all the "Arab spring" movements. It wasn't because I was feeling warm and fuzzy toward Gaddafi and co but rather because I was certain that as soon as these tyrants were removed from power, the real character of the people of this region would show up and world's not going to like what they see. Today we see who they are and what they are about.

The mistake we keep making is that we think just because we free someone, they'll go on to live good, productive lives. We've been proven wrong over and over again. We need to realize that these people are different from us and there is no way they are going to be able to replicate the free societies in our countries. We need to stay the heck away from these region and more importantly, stay the heck away from these people.

This is what Washington feeds you and you believe it. Soviets too used to tell their people that the red army was building kintergardens and distributing teddy bears in Afghanistan.

Islamic State jihadists have released a video showing the murder of 21 Egyptians, who they captured in Libya around Christmas.

The Egyptians, dressed in orange jump suits, were beheaded after being forced down on the ground. The video appeared on the Twitter feed of a website that supports Islamic State. A caption on the five-minute video read: "The people of the cross, followers of the hostile Egyptian church."

Before the killings, one of the militants stood with a knife in his hand and said: "Safety for you crusaders is something you can only wish for."

The 21 men, all migrant workers hailing from impoverished areas of central Egypt, were kidnapped between late December and early January. Fourteen came for the same village, Al-Our.

An eyewitness to the abductions of several of the men on January 4 told The Telegraph that black-clad militants had entered their living quarters in the middle of the night, carrying a list of named Christians. Relatives in adjoining rooms were left cowering behind their doors, waiting for the jihadists to break them down. But the militants left suddenly, apparently after kidnapping an allotted quota of victims.

nd it was also announced on Saturday that a second group of 21 Egyptians had been kidnapped in Libya - this time from Misrata. It wasn't clear why Isil had seized two groups of 21 people.

Isil claims to have established affiliate groups in three different areas of Libya, a common destination for Egyptian Christians.

The story of Isil's Egyptian hostages is entwined with those of the region's soured revolutions.

They left Egypt, their families say, for a better life. Fonur years after the overthrow of long-time ruler Hosni Mubarak, the country's battle-scarred economy offered them little work, and Christian churches and shops in their governorate, Minya, had faced a series of high-profile sectarian attacks.

The journey out of poverty to Libya is one that many nhave made over the years. Every year, thousands of Egyptians are lured by the prospect of salaries up to seven timesgre ater than the paltry sums they can command at home.

The government of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi has faced heavy criticism from the families of the hostages, who say they have seen no concrete attempts to resolve the situation.

So much brutality in modern age. Imagine what they have done with our elders in middle ages..

I heard that they use to put human in boiling water, they used to carve out our Sikh Guru's internal body part then...

So much terrorism
Some time i think, what is the solution of this terrorism? what will happen to us when world we will become minority? Will they do the same in Delhi what they are doing with Yazidi and Christians? Will they behead our kids head...

What should we do to stop this ? should we prepare our self for big war? should we keep eye on every potential terrorist? I am clueless?

Libya is the newest location of the great civil war buddy. It's been low intensity for a while but that is about to change now. Who's next? I guess we will find out.
