Islamic State release video showing beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians

he can say whatever... right now we have to ask ourselves this simple question, would those 21 hostages get killed in 2009 or anytime before nato's revolution in Libya, and the answer is simple.. NO...
Why are we against the Taliban? Why are we against Afghanistan? Who are the Taliban? If the Taliban want a religious State, that is fine. Think of the Vatican. Does the Vatican pose a threat to us? No. It is a religious, very peaceful State. If the Taliban want to create an Islamic Emirate, who says that this makes them an enemy? Is anyone claiming that Bin Laden is of the Taliban or that he is Afghan? Is Bin Laden of the Taliban? No; he is not of the Taliban and he is not Afghan. Were the terrorists who hit New York City of the Taliban? Were they from Afghanistan? They were neither Taliban nor Afghan. Then, what was the reason for the wars in Iraq and in Afghanistan?

@Syrian Lion

You are against Daesh. All of us are. But why the hell defend and support mass-murdering dictators such as Al-Assad, Gaddafi etc. that are a crucial part of the overall problems in those parts of the world?

Do you really think that Syria and Libya would have turned out like they have turned out if those societies were healthy before the civil wars? You think that people elsewhere would have acted like this just because of political disagreements?

Those dictators and others before them created ticking time bombs. Under those dictators only 1 view was ever tolerated. Everything else was to be combated. Such a mentality gives rise to radical simpletons.

Your way of reasoning is not different from the reasoning of Daesh fanatics. It's always a conspiracy and a "my highway or no highway" mentality.

You should know better considering that you have lived in USA for years. If the West is so evil then return to Syria. Leave USA. Seriously.

.
@Hiptullha answer his questions.... and then I will answer you... :disagree:

I've come to the conclusion that like any other crackpot Arab dictator, smelly oil sheikh or rabid cleric, Gaddafi will do everything to stifle opposition in his own country, but has no problem with terrorists massacring minorities elsewhere.

look, if the Libyan revolution was Libya, there would be no I$I$, and if the Syrian "revolution" was Syrian there wouldn't be bloodshed... that is the main point you're missing, that those 'revolution" are not genuine, rather western made just to topple government that doesn't go with their will, democracy much, they don't accept no for an answer... ( if the west was about democracy, it would have toppled its gcc puppets first)

look if you're against dictators, then show it, the moment you will ask Al saud to step down, then you can teach us about democracy... and it doesn't matter if there is a bloodshed or not, there was no bloodshed in Syria before 2010...

I$I$ was created and funded by the west and their puppets...

I've come to the conclusion that like any other crackpot Arab dictator, smelly oil sheikh or rabid cleric, Gaddafi will do everything to stifle opposition in his own country, but has no problem with terrorists massacring minorities elsewhere.
alright now Gaddafi is gone, enjoy I$I$...

What? You are telling me that all those thousands upon thousands of Libyans that sacrificed their lives for a better future were not Libyans? Foreigners in Libya played a minimal role.

Libyan Civil War (2011) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Daesh existed long before the Libyan and Syrian civil wars.

I am not going to discuss Syria with you here because we are worlds apart. Nothing good will come out of this. We discussed this 1000 of times already.

GCC leaders are not perfect nor democratic leaders (although things are improving in countries such as Kuwait and UAE and slowly in KSA too) but they don't kill their own people mercilessly as Gaddafi or Al-Assad have done. The GCC leaders are not attacking the West either or going against them. The GCC are allies with the West and the West never harmed the GCC so why should they not be allies? You tell me.

The West is doing business with hundreds of non-democratic countries including with the most populous which is China. Of course you never say a bad word about them. Or Iran or other anti-Western dictatorships.

GCC has never uttered the word "democracy" once. Nor do they claim to be democratic.

They have condemned Al-Assad genocidal regime and said that the regime has no legitimacy left which is correct and which most of the world agrees with.

How many times do I have to tell you that I do not particularly care about the House of Saud or other rulers but rather KSA as a country, people, the Arab world and Arab people?

In fact in a perfect world, which I have said always, then I would prefer that the House of Saud were toppled. But what would replace them? We don't know. Maybe something worse or better.

My initial points still stand and you have not confronted them at all or answered them other than the usual "puppet this and that", "evil West this and that" etc. rhetoric.

You forgot to mention Israel and Jews as usual.

.
Libya Today = Run by various Islamic factions (mostly Fajr Brigade, Ansar Sharia and Dawn Brigade) and Haftar's men backed by Egypt/UAE.

The moment Daesh came, it divided the ranks, caused divisions and taking their piece of land day by day then already. France, Egypt and Italy (probably Algeria too) said they're coming. All because of them. Does it sound familiar to you?

North Africa is becoming like the Levante/Iraq. Another Syria in the making.

Libyan "revolution" is a joke, if it was Libyan it would have been done by Libyans not NATO... you're really naive to believe that it is Libyan, now you're going to tell me that nato countries are made up of Libyan people?? enough with your BS...
again, the west only topples countries that doesn't go with its will... and when it comes to China, China is not an enemy of Israel.. in addition USA needs China, also China has nukes...

so you don't want democracy but you want it in Libya and Syria??
now Gaddafi is gone, who replaced him? I$I$ terrorists...

you need to understand something, stability means strength, when Arab countries are destabilized, that means they are weak... but of course you don't care about Arabs, you only care about pleasing the west...

Arab will never achieve peace as long as the west have puppets....
don't you feel disgusted with yourself when the west invades an Arab country? and you call yourself an Arab? you're an "Arab"...

the end of western puppets in the region, is the beginning of strong Arab world...

when I say west, I mean western governments, not the people...

The Libyan opposition needed outside help otherwise they would have been massacred like other opposition groups in the past. The Libyan air force was bombing them (just like the Syrian regime is doing) while the opposition has no air force.
Of course they were local Libyans who opposed the Gaddafi regime.

The thing with Libya is that it's almost the size of KSA but it only has 5-6 million people. The only populous borders are limited to the Northeastern border with Egypt and Northwestern with Tunisia.

The country was basically divided between a Western (Tripolitania) and Eastern (Cyrenaica) part. Cyrenaica quickly fell to the opposition because they disliked Gaddafi a lot and due to them being neglected while Tripolitania was more complicated but ultimately fell too. So NATO's job was relatively easy.

The conflict was not that bloody either compared to what we see in Syria or Iraq which are 100 times more complicated conflicts.

In Libya there is no ethnic, sectarian etc. conflicts. It was just pro or anti-Gaddafi. That's all.

Speaking about foreigners. You do know that Gaddafi always relied heavily on Chadian and African mercenaries right?

I want democracy. Libyans decided their own future when they removed Gaddafi. Syrians will do the same with the Al-Assad regime and Daesh. I support our Syrian brothers and sisters against Daesh and Al-Assad regime crimes.

GCC is the most stable Muslim region and the richest but you want to destroy it and turn it into another Iran and North Korea.

I do not view the West as an enemy. So no. I am not happy when countries are invaded but Libya was not invaded. NATO helped LIbyans (air campaigns) to regain their freedom.

Libyans cannot live in peace today because Gaddafi's 40 years old + rule destroyed the country. It will take some years for people to learn how to act in the best way for Libya.

I´m not clueless. Look friend. I´m italian. I visited arab countries. Egypt, UAE and i was not impressed. Egypt was nice for the ruins and nature and i enjoyed it. UAE was a soulless super mall. I would not want to live there and thank god that i must not. I honor your personally because you are educated and you know i have nothing against you.

That's your opinion. Bring a UAE sheikh to Italy, he'll have the same opinion about it. Everyone is biased towards the place they are from. To a Dubai Sheikh , Italy will look like a medieval village. He'll no doubt enjoy the grape vines, the smelly canals of Venice, the architecture etc but will eventually want to return home to his Super Mall.

I am not from UAE and UAE is much more than just malls.

See for yourself below;

The Arabian Peninsula and Arab world in photos

I am not a Sheikh either.

You misunderstand. I was telling him that people prefer the places where they were born. If he dislikes UAE and can't imagine living there , vice versa can also be true. A person from UAE might not like Italy and have a low opinion about it.

I would have believed you that you care about Syrians because they are your Arab brethren, if only your government have supported Palestine... they sent a lot of weapons and terrorists to Syria, but not a single bullet to Palestine.... and this "Arab" spring is nothing but a joke.. the only country that needed Arab Spring was Palestine against Israel, but of course the west didn't plan it for Palestine...

you want democracy? alright then, show us how it is done, start with your own country, and mind your own business... all this bloodshed and wars in the region is because of of interference... .

and one thing you will always ignore, that is the people wanted their leader gone, he would have been gone by the people, not by the west and etc...

Now you are back to writing insults and nonsense.

No, the international society has an obligation when a people are mass-murdered. The international society turned their backs to Syria for instance which was an enormous mistake.

There is no such thing as "Western puppet". It's called allies. The West have little to say when it comes to laws, way of life, culture or anything in the GCC. You don't know what you are talking about.

By that logic Syria is a Russian puppet state. Now half Iranian puppet state.

FSA are not terrorists. You think so but not the majority of the world's governments.

Syria allowed Israel to occupy the Golan Heights for 40 years. Anti-Israel my ***.

Nobody bothered Syria before your beloved Al-Assad started killing Syrians. No matter what then they are our fellow Arab brethren and mostly Muslim brethren whom we have very close ties with. I cannot simply ignore it and sit back.

It would be the same if Al-Saud started acting like Al-Assad the other way around.

Moves toward greater social and political rights in the GCC will come gradually. Civil wars are not going to solve that. Syrians had not choice as Al-Assad was murdering them.

He did not step down like Mubarak, Ben Ali, Ali Abdullah Saleh etc.

Yes, so the world should not have invaded/liberated Germany from the Nazis?

Your logic means that most Germans did want Hitler to continue because they never succeeded in removing him until the world defeated the Nazis.

You live in the West (USA) so quit this Western puppet nonsense. If you hate the West so much then go back to Syria or move to Iran, North Korea or Russia.

arabs cannot defeat ISIS. it seems like all the real arab fighter are in isis and arabs states are left with people like Moath al-Kasasbeh who crashed even a brand new F-16....
its was like ak-47 vs F-16 and he even lost to that....
