In the book of Monotheism (Kitab Al-Tawheed) By Mohammed bin Abdul-Wahab, he said that the reason why people strayed from the true path in the beginning of times was because of the presence of religious symbols that people over time forgot that it symbolized a good man (Good man = religious man in their eyes but that is not the matter), and begun worshiping the symbol instead, creating polytheism. So it is their duty to destroy all religious symbols as a prophylaxis for this thing.

These are not real muslims. These are imposters. The real muslim state will be peaceful. Full of ghee and honey. Where women walk unmolested on street. Where weak has nothing to fear the strong. Where there is no rich and no poor. Where jews and muslims live side by side peacefully.

All militant organizations base their fatawa on this concept to destroy tombs of the prophets and sahaba, pass takfirs, become psychopath zombies and kill muslims if they are not in consistent with their concepts. History is full of God fearing as well as tyrant muslim rulers, yet none had the courage to put an evil eye on sacred Islamic places. What's differences between other Muslims peaceful in Western countries compared to few bad people who pretend to be good Muslims, I beg you to remember Taliban was saying same thing to back it up with Qur'an and Hadith, 90% Pakistanis people are religious and totally support to destory Talibans.
