No, we need to decide based on the rules of Quran and Sunnah. West got its success by adopting Islamic philosophies. However they modded them to their liking. We have Islamic philosophies in its original form, we only need to adopt them.

I don't mind if he says that Allah is just nature, and angels and jinns don't exist.. I accepted his view point in one of the threads and he knows that.. but if someone with these concepts start criticizing Muslims who are trying to follow Prophet PBUH, I have a problem.

His religious views were actually quite common among Muslims of the subcontinent previously. The concept that Allah swt is found in all things is called Wahdat ul Wujood, Unity of Existence, and was believed by many prominent Sufis and even religious scholars throughout the Islamic world. It was no less a personality than Mujaddid Alf Thani Ahmad Sirhindi who refuted this idea as against Quran and Ahadith. He referred to his new concept of as Wahdat ul Shuhood, the illusion of everything being one.

It is clear from Ayat ul Kursi that Allah swt resides in a specific place, which encompasses a throne and is analogous to the Ka'aba found on Earth. Isra' wal Mi'raj made us aware of Sidrat al Muntaha, a place in Jannat from which even Angels are banned, but Prophet Muhammad saws was able to go to meet Allah swt directly to get the order of Salat.

The historical understanding of Islamic theology was expanded on by scholars, until the time we understood better. This evolution of thought was necessary to form a deeper division between Islam and Hinduism on the subcontinent, and led eventually to Pakistan.

There was The_Showstopper who is a member since 2011, three years before I became a member. I respect him. He is still a member.

Some years ago there was one woman called Razia Sultana but she didn't much oppose the Sanghis. I thought she was a Sanghi pretending to be a Muslim. There was also ( now banned ) Mujhaidind who even the Sangh-loving members here thought was a Sanghi again pretending to be a Muslim.

And you know there is a whole chapter in Quran on the existance of jinns.. and many verses give us knowledge about angels.. if someone outrightly denies all this.. and starts making fun of Quran by saying if there are jinns, why can't we call them to fight against terrorists in Pakistan?? This is the kind of fun I don't normally appreciate, and I respond very very strongly.

Alhamdolillah, I don't normally indulge in useless debates.. but I don't allow others making fun of the fundamentals of Islam.

Unfortunately Muslims have been infected by the belief systems of others and fallen so far from Islam. All of us have deficiencies, the biggest glaring one is lack of Khilafat. Many people whom I have grew up with share similar beliefs of rejection of Alim ul Ghaib. Actually this is pretty much the rule of the West. This is the unfortunate side affect of being a vulnerable Muslim minority in a Non-Muslim country.

I am very glad that in Pakistan and other Muslim countries, people have kept firm their beliefs in Allah swt and Alim ul ghaib, sanctity of Ahadith and Quran, etc.
