Well, i am aware of atleast three signs, 1- gog&magog are surely in the quran, 2- smoke or dukhan is definitely there, 4- return of Issah is in quran. We of-course are not attacking anyone nor we should get into any such trap & that's where i feel eschatology can surely help. Eschatology as i understood, is 'study of end of history'. It is definitely not study of 'end of time'. These surely are two entirely different things. It is definitely an interesting subject.
Hmm.
Let us revisit each.
GOG and MAGOG:-
Gog and Magog are mentioned in the Holy Quran in Surah al-Kahf and Surah al-Anbya.
Surah al-Kahf discloses a historic event in which Dhul-Qarnayn came across a settlement in a mountainous region during his journey. People of this settlement complained about corrupt elements known as God and Magog who were making their lives miserable and sought help of Dhul-Qarnayn in this matter.
They said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?" (Surah al-Kahf; verse 94)
Observation: Corruption of Gog and Magog is the key revelation here.
Dhul-Qarnayn was a genius and advised them to arrange sheets of metal and molten copper. They constructed a large wall of metal and poured molten copper over it; Gog and Magog were unable to breach it (imprisoned?). After this feat, Dhul-Qarnayn warned that this barrier will not last forever.
Followed by:
[Dhul-Qarnayn] said, "This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it level, and ever is the promise of my Lord true." (Surah al-Kahf; verse 98)
Followed by:
And We will leave them that day surging over each other, and [then] the Horn will be blown, and We will assemble them in [one] assembly (Surah al-Kahf; verse 99).
Followed by:
And We will present Hell that Day to the Disbelievers, on display - (Surah al-Kahf; verse 100)
Observation: The barrier will eventually break and Gog and Magog will spread (corruption and disbelief will spread). The event commonly referred to as the Hour is hinted in verses 98 and 99 which will be established upon such people.
Now, we take a look at revelations in Surah al-Anbya:
And there is prohibition upon a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return (Surah al-Anbya; verse 95)
Observation: Destruction of a city is mentioned here in relation to Gog and Magog.
Followed by:
Until when Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend (Surah al-Anbya; verse 96)
Followed by:
And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers." (Surah al-Anbya; verse 97)
Observation: Verse 97 seems to be pointing towards occurrence of the promised event (the Hour) during which corrupt and disbelievers will be in distress and come to terms with the error of their ways but it will be too late for them.
So what can we learn from the above?
If you put all pieces of the puzzle together and apply some common sense, you will realize that no form of barrier can prevent corruption and/or disbelief (in one true God) from spreading because these are ideological elements (Gog and Magog). Even if you destroy entire cities filled with corrupt people (as hinted in verse 95 of Surah al-Anbya), you cannot eradicate the filth of Gog and Magog and they will re-surge at some point.
Conclusively, corruption and disbelief (Gog and Magog) will become a norm before the HOUR is established. Therefore, this revelation has come to pass in our lifetime but the HOUR is yet to be established.

SMOKE
We have revelations in Surah ad-Dhukan and Surah ar-Rahman in relation to SMOKE.
First, we check the revelations of Surah ad-Dhukan:
Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke. (Surah ad-Dhukan; verse 10)
Followed by:
Covering the people; this is a painful torment. (Surah ad-Dhukan; verse 11)
Followed by:
[They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers." (Surah ad-Dhukan; verse 12)
Followed by:
Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief]. (Surah ad-Dhukan; verse 15)
Followed by:
The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution. (Surah ad-Dhukan; verse 16)
Now, we check revelations in Surah ar-Rahman:
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves. (Surah ar-Rahman; verse 35)
Followed by:
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil - (Surah ar-Rahman; verse 37)
Followed by:
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. (Surah ar-Rahman; verse 39)
Followed by:
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. (Surah ar-Rahman; verse 41)
Followed by:
This is Hell, which the criminals deny. (Surah ar-Rahman; verse 43)
Followed by:
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]. (Surah ar-Rahman; verse 44)
Observations:
Verses 10 and 11 of Surah ad-Dhukan and verse 35 of Surah ar-Rahman seem to refer to the same apocalyptic event. Following are the possibilities:-
Possibility 1 - Comet strike
About 65 million years ago, a comet with the diameter of 6 miles slammed into Earth, setting in motion an apocalyptic chain of events. Most notably, a thick layer of dust and soot (smoke) engulfed the Earth in a span of few days and completely blocked sunlight for 5 years straight.
Possibility 2 - Super volcanic activity (orchestrated by Global warming?)
Something of this sort:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/...mass-extinction-volcano-paleontology-science/
Both events have the potential to blanket the atmosphere of Earth with thick layers of dust and soot (smoke) that may block sunlight for a long time, trigger acidic rains, set environments to fire and orchestrate mass die-offs. This would usher into an era of great suffering for humans.
Verse 15 of Surah ad-Dhukan implies that the smoke will subside after a period of time (not completely?) and disbelievers will breath a sigh of relief but this relief won't last long. Another calamity will descend upon the Earth soon after:
Verse 16 of Surah ad-Dhukan and verse 37 of Surah al-Anbiya seem to refer to another apocalyptic event that will precede the SMOKE event. This event is most likely the HOUR that Allah Almighty warned us about.
NOTE: I am bit confused about verse 35 of Surah al-Anbiya; is it pinpointing the SMOKE event or is it pinpointing the HOUR event? Could be valid for both. Allah Almighty knows best.
Surah al-Qiyamah offers additional details of the HOUR event in which blinding of the sight is implied and both Sun and Moon are mentioned in the manner that the moon will assume a darker appearance and then the two will appear to join (sounds like a solar eclipse).
So when vision is dazzled (Surah al-Qiyamah; verse 11)
And the moon darkens (Surah al-Qiyamah; verse 12)
And the sun and the moon are joined, (Surah al-Qiyamah; verse 13)
Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?" (Surah al-Qiyamah; verse 14)
No! There is no refuge. (Surah al-Qiyamah; verse 15)
If we concentrate on the verses (11 - 15) in Surah al-Qiyamah, verse 16 of Surah ad-Dhukan and verses 35, 37 and 44 of Surah al-Anbiya, put them together and apply common sense and/or scientific knowledge, two possibilities come to mind again:
Possibility 1 - SUPERFLARE
A devastating SUPERFLARE might engulf the Earth (already reeling from the effects of the SMOKE event earlier) during the course of a solar eclipse.
Sun can unleash a
SUPERFLARE (a powerful Solar Storm). Scientific studies suggest that this is possible:
http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2016/03/could-earth-be-fried-superflare-sun
Possibility 2 - Comet strike (a major one)
About 3.26 billion years ago, a comet with the diameter of 23 miles slammed into Earth. It triggered a super Earthquake that lasted 30 minutes, boiled the waters and set the atmosphere on fire. Scale of devastation on the whole is difficult to fathom but descriptions in verses 35, 37 and 44 of Surah al-Anbiya seem to fit (collectively).
Allah Almighty knows best.
So what can we learn from the above?
Two apocalyptic events will occur in a sequence that will collectively bring about extinction of mankind; SMOKE event followed by the HOUR event. Earth would be an extremely harsh environment to inhabit in the aftermath (waters would be boiling); verse 43 of Surah ar-Rahman suggests that this HELL will be reserved for the corrupt and disbelievers. Conversely, believers will be sent to paradise.
Allah Almighty knows best.

Return of Hazrat Isa
Surah al-Nisa discloses that Allah Almighty rescued Hazrat Isa from the fate of crucification and another man (with resembling features) was crucified in the place of Hazrat Isa. Allah Almighty also pointed out in Surah ali-Imran that every individual will experience death.
We do not have direct confirmation but possibility cannot be ruled out.
Allah Almighty knows best.
