No, it is not that simple. When Arabic speakings express their opinion on something, they don't call it fatwa.

A fatwā is an Islamic legal pronouncement, issued by an expert in religious law (mufti), pertaining to a specific issue, usually at the request of an individual or judge to resolve an issue where Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), is unclear.

My friend, either you have difficulty reading and/or understanding English, or you are just trying to look different.

To say "This is my opinion", in Arabic, I will say هذا هو رأيي
I will not say 'haza huwa fatwa.

See any Arabic dictionary, the translation for opinion is 'الرأي' and not 'الفتوى'.

In Urdu, we also use 'رائے ', which is actually from Arabic 'الرأي'.

Why take their fatwas seriously in the first place?? I am not saying all Ulemas are lacking in knowledge regarding the subject but most make a mockery of Islam in such circumstances. And one of the most admirable things about Islam is that it abolishes the concepts of priesthood and inculcates individual's right to knowledge from the same source available to us all.

There r many words in it that may give same meaning in a sentence depending on context of speech.

Reasons? lack of education, backward thinking, power hungry Mullahs topped up with a bit of humour. And ofcourse the blind zombie followers of Mullahs.
You forgot self righteousness.
