That won't be the case by 2030 which is why I said that Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad should be 100% electric by 2030 as far as cars, motorbikes and rickshaws are concern.

You mean the existing petrol,diesel cars ?? Taking out the engine & all the stuff ?? That will be a mess, you'll have to change literally every part.. That's not be a feasible thing to do.

If the cost of brand new electric at time will be significantly higher than converting then converting will be the way to go, otherwise brand new electric cars should be bought.

While when battery would be powering a 60-80-kW motor, it's temperature would reach to 80-100° depending on ambient conditions.
Next comes the rain season, i would not like to be riding an electrical car in Karachi when it's flooded.

EV is way to go. Start introducing EV now so that Next 5 to 10 years, there is no excuse for importing Billions of dollar worth of foreign oil.

Don’t worry, Pakistan isn’t unique. Southern US is as hot as Pakistan. Flooding also occurs in US during hurricane season. These are engineering challenges that can been and has be addressed By major Auto manufacturers. Don’t import junk from China or India.
