Bhai, this problem has nothing to do with Fazul Rehman. And if someone is demanding sharia in Pakistan, then it should not be a crime.
Sir,
Demanding Shariah, is not a crime.
But,
The real motives of the one demanding (fame/shohrat possibly), attention and fasaad, this is what is the problem and this acts against peace and prosperity.
As much as anyone of us would like Pakistan to follow the pure Shariah of Original Islam, it is impossible now, people are corrupt down to core, generations destroyed and being destroyed and the culprits are Parents, Education institutes and system, media and social media,
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, Mullahs.
Mullahs have influence, they have followers, if they exploit them to follow true islamic teachings, these people would in turn further spread the teaching to others and those at home. A general atmosphere of Islamic Driven society would have been created,
But like Prophet SA predicted “ Beware of the scholars of end times, for they would be the worst of mankind”, our society plagued by these rats who use their followers for their own purposes and the general population and followers as like i always say, “Mindless, Common Pakistanis and Jahils”.
What use is a mind that can’t differentiate between good and the bad ?
Remember one thing, enforcing shariah was never the solution, or in easy terms, a practical and productive solution. You can force everyone to abide by the laws of Shariah under a state constitution but what matters is the internal belief, an atheist will remain atheist under a veil, a whore will remain whore under a burqa and a playboy will remain a playboy with beard and caps.
When islam began spreading, the attraction of majority was the simplistic and cooperative lifestyle of Muslims under the Teachings of Prophet Muhammad SA.
Later on, He (SA), sent letters to multiple regions, states, requesting them to accept and revert to islam, those that accepted with peace, were honored with retaining their own kingdoms and influence, those who resisted, turned rebellious towards islam and madinah, wars took place but the wars were to defend the religion or to take back the lands from those empires who resisted because Prophet SA claimed in letters that the land belongs to Allah. In the end, we all know what happened, muslims won the lands, native people accepted as well as rejected islam by heart but were never forced to.
I do believe there is a serious lack of attention by governments to at least regulate the moral and values part of society. Times are so bad these days, people have no respect of any value, bad language is as frequent as breathing, adultery is something that people don’t feel afraid to do, intoxicants, indecency and flirt society. Universities and colleges are more than educational institutions.
