Former prime minister Imran Khan said on Friday that he had called a session of the PTI core committee on Sunday in Peshawar, where a final decision on the date for his long march to Islamabad will be decided.
Addressing a huge rally in Multan, Imran said the march could be held on any day between May 25 and May 29.
He demanded that the National Assembly be dissolved immediately and a date for elections announced, lashing out at the current government for what he said was its inability to govern the country.
Since his ouster as prime minister on April 10, Imran has held a series of large public rallies across the country, terming his ouster a foreign conspiracy and urging the public to prepare for a march to the capital to pressure the authorities into accepting his demand for immediate elections in the country.
Criticising the PML-N-led coalition government, Imran said "they were busy conspiring but now that they have assumed power, they must tell us why they are struggling to govern the country."
"A convict is taking decisions. Sometimes they are asking the National Security Committee to hike prices," he said.

Millions of people gathered in Multan in PTI powershow
The former premier said his government collected record tax, IT exports surged by 75 per cent during his tenure and Pakistan's employment rate was the highest in the entire sub-continent.
"You toppled our government and now I am happy comparisons are taking place." Imran said if he did not care for the nation, he would wish they [PML-N] stayed in power for more months so that people curse the as well as those "who brought them to power".
He said a wave of inflation is on its way because when the rupee depreciates, "it has an impact on everything".
"If they stay in power longer, they will make Pakistan into Sri Lanka. That's why I demand an election date as soon as possible and dissolution of assemblies."
"Millions"? Hardly. The crowd in the picture above can be estimated by well known techniques.
(Hint: Nowhere near the number being claimed.)
Salaam
I know people who went there. Couldn't get near even. The stadium was full by 3. There were many times more people outside than inside.
However, millions seems to be pushing it a bit tbh.
Fake Patwari account returns after recent banBefore 29 May to now 25-29 May
He is not confident about longmarch and sit-in. He is looking for some way out probably otherwise he would have announced longmarch long time ago.
He is ex-PM of Pakistan. There is some standard.
Its funnny defending IK bad mouthing saying Maryam also does the same.
Both same then.
Sahi youtia ho.
Fellows in favour of march,
1- what should be IK's objectives of march? Just announcement of election date after dissolving NA? Change of ECP?? Any "other" changes? Don't you guys think 2 million strong long march is an overkill just for this govt of one vote?
2- what are the chances, march MAY prove to be a dead end? What if its 2 million people and govt just lets it pass, offering no resistance? What next, sit in? How long? How long will it be sustainable?
...... It's about protecting the sovereignty of Pakistan that is endangered by Dollar Khor US puppets residing within our sleeves.
This march is also about creating a new system that ensures an independent foreign policy and punishes the facilitators of this regime change operation residing in Pakistan.
.
While agreeing with you that Pakistan requires a new OS (as someone else on this forum described it), How is IK going achieve that? Installation of new OS requires to format the primary drive, deleting all existing data, is that you think gonna happen?Very soon the disastrous effects of this inflation + increase in petroleum prices will appear.. and then anger of people...............No one will be able to extinguish that fire!

Has PTI calculated the consequences??
Why in Peshawar? The selection of the place is quite Ma'nidar! Historically speaking, the great conquests used to come from that direction...
Bhai - Next 2 days tu patwaris Maryam par comment ka jawab main shoshal media par postain aur taweetain lagain ge. So, grab pop corn and enjoy noon-vs--pti war for next two days. On Monday, this govt. will announce elections.
PS: I still believe IK shouldn't have said this when he have Chauhan and Gill who can counter Sharifs much better if given free hand.
