I am not here to defend judges so dont ask me that question, My mere objection was on that fact that no one has the right to disrespect court of law, yes our Legal system has challenges like all the department but it is not total failure like some African country, as i have mentioned you earlier the court has the power given to it by constitution, it has brought down the corrupt govt and has stopped the ext of Army chief, its not total failure as you claim it to be. Obviosuly your emotions are running high.

Consider this if in your Family your elder presents you a verdict that goes against your wishes do you start abusing them outright ?

It’s not about how LAW is above all or how it must be respected, rather how it is written. In case of Pakistan, there judiciary goons have highlighted loopholes in their laws and constitution so as to facilitate the evil.

I agree. The courts are full of people unworthy of their station and the failure of the institution is a key component in the failure of our state. The wealthy get away with everything, those with foreign backers can buy influence of judges. I know how easy it is to bribe Pakistani judges.

Ex Maj. Gen. (And later Lt. Gen.) Ghayoor Mehmood, GOC 7th Div, the main infantry division responsible for NWA, once said in a media briefing that most of those killed in drone attacks were hardcore terrorists.

During the period between 2008 and 2014, if you'd talked to a soldier belonging to 7th Div, 'off duty', you'd know how grateful they were to drones.

We basically left our soldiers helpless in NWA for years, every other day a convoy would be ambushed while travelling to Miranshah HQ. Hundreds of soldiers martyred without even getting a chance to fight.

In those days, drones were the only protection.

Now, before you take it as my defence of drone attacks, no, I am not defending them. Just stating a fact. Now, if Mohsin Dawar is a traitor because he tweeted something, why not hold ex-GOC 7 Div responsible for same?

Then Dawar should also take responsibility. Instead he is mud sliding armed forces.

These PTM guys demands that Army should leave FATA. Army has said that as long as there is a hostile Govt. next door they cant leave due to security concerns. Just yesterday a mortar shell landed in a home killing civilians.

They demand open borders and no screening on border crossing. This demand is just idiotic.

Land mines are being taken out. According to a report published in 2018 95% land has been cleared.

Regarding kidnapping you cant rule out the possibility of people defecting to terrorist organizations.

Development work is being carried out. It may be at a slower pace but that happens through out the whole country.

Now, why do these PTM leaders call other ethnicities dalaal, Kaalia, ugly looking in front of their rallies???

Ijaz Shah should be called to the court and asked to verify his 'patriotism' certificate. A lot of bots on this forum don't even realise that these peaceful protesters were not all PTM members. There were students as well from good backgrounds who were exercising their constitutional right.

Courts seem to be the last beacon of hope for upholding the civil liberties and rights. I pray that they don't get compromised. When an oppressed person won't see a hope in legal proceedings, he'll automatically be drawn towards violence.

The State of Pakistan needs to rethink its policy of repression.

Good decision, protests and criticism shouldn’t be shut down or dismissed by baseless sedition charges and questioning of one’s patriotism.

I have to disagree.
TLP as mad as they are also have a right to protest and demonstrate. I’m consistent on these principles, also I differentiate between making a value judgement and making a point about what’s “a right” vs “what’s right”. Hence TLP I dislike, but it doesn’t mean that the same principles of free assembly, political speech and dissent, no longer apply.

Also these men weren’t arrested for disturbing the peace, damage to property, violence or other misdemeanours, the charge is of sedition. That charge needs to be weighed carefully and evidence presented, and so far not even a report was produced before the court, let alone anything else.

Hate speech is not free speech

Urging people to kill soldiers is not free speech

Abusing other ethnic groups and open is not free speech

Which is the right thing to do. There is overwhelming evidence that is enough to charge each and every leader of PTM with sedition. And same goes for their supporters too like these guys

Laanat on this Islamabd High Court Chief Justice. He released them on the pretext that they are educated and educated youth are our future!

The officer of the state, the policeman applied the law as it is. The courts in Pakistan keep interfering in these matters. He was the Judge who said govt should guarantee that Nawaz Sharif be alive until next Tuesday. And now this!

In between Islamabad High Court granted permission too heavy bikes on motorway which is a prerogative of motorway police. In each and every administrative matter, these courts interfere.
