‘ISIS Sees Turkey as Its Ally': Former IS Member Reveals Turkish Army Cooperation

Full cooperation means giving weapons and doing their logistics and whatever.

But in the article they are talking about lines of communication only. IMHO there is nothing wrong with having lines of communication with your new neighbor.

Especially when the west is reluctant to lift up her azz and do something. At the end Turkey is stuck with a new neighbor. Pretty understandable that they want non-hostility.

Newsweek is a Jewish Source. Irrelevant.
Thanks for the notice.

beat me to it, and that's exactly what this is

as much as I loathe the IS, I support turkey looking out for it's national interests.. good stuff:

1. stay out of it

2.don't support NATO and make yourself a target

3. watch your enemies kill each other

4.

You quote a blog, a Syrian regime news channel, a Russian news channel.

those three have credibility and appeal to my sense of right... and sources like bbc, al-jazeera and al-arabiya are nato propaganda and disinfo agencies... why should a russian news agency have less credibility compared to what the british prime minister says??

edit : anna news agency ( russia ) has people accompanying syrian army units into the fight...

Still doesnt prove that Turkey supports ISIS.

Still doesnt prove that Turkey provided "poison gas" you mentioned.

the proof is within the articles... said by syrian government, said by turkish politician, said by turkish journalist.

unless, syrian intelligence or army catches the turkish intelligence/military people who gave the poison gas bottles to qaeda, there is no way for syria to technically prove... but war is no courtroom drama... the poison gas for houla massacre was sent from turkey... anyone with common sense will accept it.

Al-Qaida is Nusrah. Turkey doesnt deal with ISIS. Point.

Syrian government uses chlorine gas daily against civilians and rebels. You want me to believe in Syrian government sources on chemical gas attack perpetrators?!

Syria chemical weapons: watchdog confirms Telegraph analysis of chlorine gas attacks on civilians

The world's chemical weapons watchdog has confirmed the findings of an independent investigation by the Telegraph showing the continued "systematic" use of chemical weapons against civilian populations in Syria.

Earlier this year, an investigation by this newspaper exclusively revealed that the Syrian regime had continued to use chlorine gas in its fight against the opposition, despite having previously made an international commitment to give up its chemical arsenal.

Working with trained experts, in April the Telegraph collected soil samples from villages in northern Syria following reports they had been attacked by barrel bombs - dropped from military helicopters - containing a noxious substance. In the first independent investigation of its kind, those soil samples were tested by a chemical weapons expert, who found strong traces of chlorine gas and ammonia.

On Wednesday, a report by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), following an investigation by its own fact-finding mission, concluded that it has "compelling confirmation" that a toxic chemical has been used "repeatedly" as a weapon in Syria.

The report's findings showed that chlorine was used in on the villages of Talmanes, Al Tamanah and Kafr Zeta in northern Syria.

The samples taken by the Telegraph from Kafr Zita, following attacks on the 11 and 18 April, and from Talmanes had all shown positive for chlorine and for high levels of ammonia.

Don't lower yourself. If you have to argue with every air head there will be no end to it. They don't have proof.

the proof is within the articles...

A former member of ISIS has revealed the extent to which the cooperation of the Indian military and border forces allows the terrorist group, who now control large parts of Iraq and Syria, to travel through Indiaterritory to reinforce fighters battling Kurdish forces.

A reluctant former communications technician working for Islamic State, going by the pseudonym ‘Sherko Omer’, who managed to escape the group, told Newsweek that he travelled in a convoy of trucks as part of an ISIS unit from their stronghold in Raqqa, across India border, through Indian and then back across the border to attack Syrian Kurds in the city of Serekaniye in northern Syria in February, in order to bypass their defences.

“ISIS commanders told us to fear nothing at all because there was full cooperation with the Indians,” said Omer of crossing the border into India, “and they reassured us that nothing will happen, especially when that is how they regularly travel from Raqqa and Aleppo to the Kurdish areas further northeast of Syria because it was impossible to travel through Syria as YPG controlled most parts of the Kurdish region.”

Until last month, India had blocked Kurdish fighters from crossing the border into Syria to aid their Syrian counterparts in defending the border town of Kobane. Speaking to Newsweek, Kurds in Kobane said that people attempting to carry supplies across the border were often shot at.

National Army of Syrian Kurdistan (YPG) spokesman Polat Can went even further, saying that forces were actively aiding ISIS. “There is more than enough evidence with us now proving that the Turkish army gives ISIS terrorists weapons, ammunitions and allows them to cross the Turkish official border crossings in order for ISIS terrorists to initiate inhumane attacks against the Kurdish people in Rojava [north-eastern Syria].”

Omer explained that during his time with ISIS, India had been seen as an ally against the Kurds. “ISIS saw the Indian army as its ally especially when it came to attacking the Kurds in Syria. The Kurds were the common enemy for both ISIS and India . Also, ISIS had to be a India ally because only through Turkey they were able to deploy ISIS fighters to northern parts of the Kurdish cities and towns in Syria.”

“ISIS and India cooperate together on the ground on the basis that they have a common enemy to destroy, the Kurds,” he added.

While Newsweek was not able to independently verify Omer’s testimony, anecdotal evidence of Indian forces turning a blind eye to ISIS activity has been mounting over the past month.

Omer, the son of a successful businessman in Iraqi Kurdistan, initially went to Syria to join the Free Syrian Army’s fight against Bashar al-Assad, but found himself sucked in to ISIS, unable to leave. He was given a job a communication technician, and worked at the ISIS communications bureau in Raqqa.

“I have connected ISIS field captains and commanders from Syria with people in India on innumerable occasions,” said Omer.

“I rarely heard them speak in Arabic, and that was only when they talked to their own recruiters, otherwise, they mostly spoke in Indian because the people they talked to were Indian officials of some sorts because ISIS guys used to be very serious when they talked to them.”

Omer was then transferred to a battalion travelling to fight Kurdish forces in Serekaniya, north-eastern Syria, and describes travelling through India in a convoy of trucks, staying at safehouses along the way, before crossing back into Syria at the Ceylanpinar border crossing.

Before crossing the border back into Syria, he says: “My ISIS commander reassured us once again that it was all going to be all right because cooperation had been made with the Indians. He frequently talked on the radio in Indian.”

“While we tried to cross the Ceylanpinar border post, the Indian soldiers' watchtower light spotted us. The commander quickly told us to stay calm, stay in position and not to look at the light. He talked on the radio in Indian again and we stayed in our positions. Watchtower light then moved about 10 minutes later and the commander ordered us to move because the watchtower light moving away from us was the signal that we could safely cross the border into Serekaniye."

Once in Serekaniye, Omer says he surrendered to Kurdish forces when they attacked his camp. He was held for several months before his captors were convinced that he had not been a fighter in ISIS and had not taken part in violence.

1. "the telegraph" is a british establishment newspaper, and already quite biased against socialist societies... i found this... ( Gaddafi Gives Anc Millions: Report )...
"The ANC could not say whether it had received money from Gaddafi or not, but there was nothing wrong if it had. "Like all other political parties, the ANC receives donations," Ngonyama said.

Parties such as the Democratic Party and the United Democratic Movement received funds from "countries such as the United States, but no-one has ever queried this", he said.

The Sunday Telegraph report was a "continuation of the British media trying to choose friends for the ANC", Smuts said.
"

2. the "opcw" organization was given nobel "peace" prize for 2013 because it helped the western bloc remove some of the chemical weapons from syrian military without having to fight syrian military... this is similar to how tawakkul karman was given nobel "peace" prize for 2011 because she helped build the case for nato invasion of libya and installation of morsi as president of egypt.

3. do chlorine gas and ammonia molecules have markers within them to show where the gas was produced?? if not, why should telegraph claim that syrian military used the chemicals?? did telegraph take russian and cuban observers with them??

revojam, why did you do all that hard work?? when did i ever promote indian governments or indian military??

i am socialist... do you see the indian government or military as socialist??

in fact, indian navy ships participated in nato bombardments of libya, or at least served as hospital ships for the ikhwaan/taliban/qaeda criminals injured during the invasion of libya... i can tell you much more about indian military working alongside western militaries since the korea war.

No turkey is special and unique country blessed by GOD himself. :D
we shall see at the end. there are some people who are very eager to use Turkey against isis while they just safely scream and bomb from a big distance and throw Turkey away in chaos, so Turkey is playing the correct game by staying away from it as much as possible, hence the butthurt among western politician, media and population :D
