The Research and Analysis Wing (RA&W) is said to have revealed a conspiracy by Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI to eliminate Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist behind the 26/11 strikes, Headlines Today reported.

The RAW is said to have intercepted a telephonic conversation that reveals a plan to kill Kasab, who is currently in the custody of the Mumbai Police Crime Branch.

The intelligence agency has revealed that ISI has sought gangster Chhota Shakeel's help to carry out the task. The intercepts were tracked to Bhuj in Gujarat.

Pakistani Jihadi are involved in Joota Atacking on Bush

Why will ISI want to Kill him now ? When all the Damage has been done, It would have been Beneficial to ISI if he was Killed before he got Interrogated by the agencies or before he Became a "Shahrukh of Terrorism" On Indian Media.

Indian police discover threat to Kasab’s life

MUMBAI: Indian police have learnt that terror groups have issued “death warrants” against Muhammad Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving gunman from the Mumbai attacks, a senior police officer said on Tuesday. Rakesh Maria, the chief investigator into the Mumbai attacks, said the threats against Kasab spoke of “underworld or gang involvement”. “We have received various intelligence inputs on threats to Kasab's life from different sources,” Maria told reporters. According to TV reports, underworld don Chhota Shakeel, a close aide of Dawood Ibrahim, has been given a contract to kill Kasab. However, Maria would not confirm this. Ibrahim is accused of masterminding several serial bombings in Mumbai in 1993, resulting in the death of at least 250 people. According to intelligence sources, the plot came to light on January 29 when a Research and Analysis Wing branch of Gujarat's Bhuj district intercepted a telephonic conversation from across the border. The matter was discussed at the January 10 National Security Council meeting. The Centre has now forwarded the information to the Mumbai police. An official said Kasab’s death would mean that there would no longer be any evidence to pin Pakistan in the Mumbai attacks. agencies
