None of them are praying but prostrating to show "submission" and their piety as Muslims. That prostration can be done in any direction as such and not necessarily towards Mecca. Our cricket players have a tendency to pull that off regularly and no one doubts their religion as such because no everyday Muslim gives so much thought in their daily lives on exactly what and what unless its a hypocritical Mullah trying to pass off himself as important with the 3.5 inch Beard regulation requirement.
