I always wonder why Saudi Arabia buys 7.62 by 39 mm ammo from Ukraine rather than buy 5.45 by 39 mm ammo from Ukraine. Ukraine itself does not use 7.62 by 39 because Ukraine uses AK-74 rather than AK-47. AK-74 and 5.45 by 39 combo is way deadlier than AK-47 and 7.62 by 39 combo.

In any case, because of war in Ukraine, Ukraine's ammo export to Saudi Arabia has dried up because only Lugansk makes ammo and Lugansk is under control of NAF. ISIS will have to find another source for 7.62 by 39 mm ammo.
