ISI, Rangers Officials To Be Removed From Post on KHI Incident: ISPR

ISI is not above the constitution. A state within the state is unconstitutional
Intelligence agencies are way above the constitution in every serious state in the world. This is an unsaid rule that exists. Pakistan would not exist today if ISI operated under the constituion. This constitution was made for the country, the country was not made for the constitution.
as democracy gets strength agencies will be put in backseat .
When agencies are put in the back seat, Pakistan would ceaze to exist.

So that explains intelligence failures of 1965, 1971, 1999 conflicts. Intelligence agencies are for gathering of intelligence. They can however not act independently as these officers in Karachi.

71 and 99 were political failiures not military ones, 65 was a victory, quick to. point out supposed failiures are u? yet fail to mention the defeat of the Soviets in Afghanistan, check mate of the Americans in the same place, winning a war on terror that no other country has been able to do so till date and no ,intelligece agencies are not just for intelligence gathering, that is their most basic duty, real job starts after that, this is such an adoloscent remark that it is useless to continue this discussion with u. Go and learn what the job of intel agencies actually is around the world before getting into serious discussions.

Officers / Brigadiers / Sector Commanders can't act without knowledge / permission of their DGs specially after Midnight.

What action was taken by ISI Officers / Brigadiers / Sector Commanders of PUNJAB RANGERS in 2014 in Model Town incident In Lahore when innocent Civilians were killed by the Police ?

WHY SOO MUCH ACTIVISM IN KARACHI?
Are these OVER ZEALOUS actions NOT Needed in PUNJAB?

This happens when the 6th Largest Professional Military is run by people who are on EXTENSIONS or was there NO ONE capable enough to replace him?

Not soo much professional after all.

A bit diverting from the topic, but why is the highest officer of Police not protected properly? Where were the Police guards? They just let another force take into custody a grade 22 officer, who's equivalent of a Lt. General?

Does anybody know why the Police would not resist to this, especially when there's no Martial Law and constitution is in place?

Overzealous my foot.

In any country with rule of law, criminal proceedings would be had against the perpetrators and their commanding officers (right to the top), getting sacked should be the least of their troubles.

You folks have graduated from kidnapping journalists and other civilians, to now senior police officers. Goon and mafia behaviour needs to stop and those involved need to be held accountable.
Mitti Pao bhai - its done.
In a country with rule of law parties like PMLN and PPP wouldn’t even exist and you would not have police force corrupt and criminal to the core like Sindh Police (15k +plus dead bodies in Karachi) and Punjab Police (Model town any one? Torture and rapes in Jails?).

Since you are all for rule of law - Armed forces disiplinary actions are under the Army as per the constitution, and as per them this is the recommended reprimand. If there is anything else Sindh Govt should work with Federal Govt. for any other action needed. Maybe a better solution would be for PPP to stop being a silly f**k up and take charge of law and order in Karachi, like you have in London and NYC. They probably can get rid of Rangers all together from Karachi by simply just STOP being Criminals and Extortionists themselves and ending the racism and prejudice against Karachites. If you will invite Army in civil areas for basic law and order duties, then these types of things are going to happen.

how I wish for a Pakistan where the PA wouldn't be so controversial. the Jatt-duo in charge has tarnished whatever repo was rehabilitated in the previous tenure. can you imagine the conversations going on in the messes? direct impact of these blunders are on rank and file and overall morale. do not become like the French Army pre-WW2. if officers are viewing this; be the change. you cannot let the actions of your superiors disillusion the people. clean the slate. hope there aren't stupid incidents like this - can only hope though.

What about the Police Officers who failed to take action on Quaid's Mazar's desecration and the ones who declared the FIR against Safdar to be fake. Does this mean that after today no one should remind anyone of their duty? Like the police, now the army, ISI, and Rangers should also remain careless and silent in the face of evil? Who is the custodian to make sure the safety of people, so how IG ignores his duty on who is pressure? My Salute to ISI who took some action in the face of evil.
