You forgot to mention the "Volunteer wing".
Much of ISI's work is done by unpaid,unaffiliated volunteers who do it for Patriotism..



I posted this video on my FB page and people called me pro PTI and anti Nawaz. But what reason i am left with to like Nawwaz after clearly listening him not accepting the "Border" and denying two nation theory?

please keep it simple - no party baazi, no political hola hoop ---
as far as volunteer wing is concerned then there is no such wing, as far as i know, every team can recruit assets, oh but i did hear about temp recruits on lower cadre i.e ad hoc basis / daily wages - most of these guys are doing the surveillance work

Yes... I read tht... He wrote in his columns, abt his meetings with gen Kiyani, even when he was COAS... And then, now too...

I read haroon rasheed' s column quite regularly. I think he is a good journalists but Ya you are right though, journalists only write half truth.

True... I hope so too.... Or if not him, then Gen Pasha should write.... A lot happened in their tenures as COAS & DG ISI respectively

We will definitely see some kind of books regarding their tenures. Writing a book seems to be a favorite time pass hobby for our retired servicemen.

I just completed, reading the urdu version of this book , Hassaas Idaarey , online... I started reading this book yesterday and done with it today... well almost...i flipped over few pages...which didnt seem to interest me much.... A very interesting read no doubt....i wonder..wht and how ...could Pak have been without ISI? we surely are indebted to them...
But one thing.abt this book... I think Brig Trimzi should have also mentioned his point of view on plane crash in which Gen Zia and Gen Akhtar Abdul Rehman were also killed amongst others... He worked closely with Gen Akhtar Abdul Rehman..for years.. Although Brig Sb was retired already, but he should have mentioned his point of view...abt tht incident....tht who could be involved in it?
But where is Brig Trimzi now? just curious to know

ya you are right, isi is the first defence line of Pakistan and served the country with pride. I have visited the HQ and manay other offices and it is all amazing.

You've forgotten the most important wing of the ISI - The 'S' Wing.

The 'S' Wing is a shadowy outfit of the ISI. A notorious group of operatives, the S-Wing is made up of active ISI officers, recent retirees, and plain-clothes civilians with highly specialized training—all dedicated to 'protecting and preserving Pakistan's territorial integrity' using any method, at any cost, with no regard for collateral damage. As black-ops units go, it is about as thuggish and ruthless as is possible, without being a criminal organization.
