Today he present himself infront of closed in camera briefing and took the responsibility of Intelligence failure in Abottabad.
Its time for politicians to learn. I think its historic moment of Pak history when Army come front and took the responsibility of failure ready to face all consequences.

The politicians will never learn . Gunja nawaz sharif as always acting as usual dumbest than anyone refused to attend the briefing though earlier it was his party that was crying loud asking army to give briefing and when it was done all his party eggs came to ground.

Well, its up to President and Prime minister to send him home. But govt party is not in this favor. Because if PPP send him home then two issues will generate..a non stop sequence of accountability starts and PMLn will turn from loser to hero.

The media is reporting quoting Firdos Ashiq Awan so dont know how much they will be accurate but its for sure that he has accepted intel failure so lets see accountability means a long procedure wherein you MUST have neutral persons to conduct it NOT manjora gama maja from PML-N or jyalas or any other party

I think are more worried for administrative vacuum , PML -N had played such dumb that it cant become hero by such acts

Politicians must be scratching their head, they were planning to drag down Army reputation down the drain after Abbottabad issue, Pasha through triple As. Now what. Well, he equally hold responsible govt agencies too(IB,FIA,Police etc etc). So, now Rahman Malik need to come forward for accountability and present his resignation ..

lolzz now that son of a gun is reported to have said "If deliberately did this mistake, then Im present for accountability" meaning thereby, "can you do something about this? I dare you try".

the point is Executives are responsible to answer the Parliament, and the Parliament is responsible to answer to the nation either when they come in elections next time or fall victim of self-realization (eerrrr.....) or fall in front of the heavy pressure by the civil society on a particular issue. (for which our society is not ready yet.)

DG ISI Shuja Pasha briefs parliament
ISLAMABAD: The joint parliament “in camera” briefing about the Abbotabad Operation took place in parliament today, DawnNews reported. Pakistan’s military and security officials delivered details about the US operation in which Osama Bin Laden was killed.

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, heads of all three armed forces and DG, ISI attended the meeting.

The Director General of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt, Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha while briefing parliament said, “Talking to parliament is an honor for me.”

Pasha stated that currently contact between the ISI and the CIA are next to nothing. He further said that ensuring the security of the country is the top-most priority of his institution.

Earlier PM Gilani said that all reservations of the members were to be addressed in parliament. He further said that the people are confident about their institutions and the government will take care of the security and sovereignty of the country.
