Salafi Saudis funding TTP terrorists to kill PA soldiers is not really supporting PA...don't you think??
I'm afraid most pakistanis don't care to take dictation from outsiders - whether its the US or Saudi. Our government and military should do the same.
The "indo-persian crap" is our ethnic and cultural heritage. If you can't relate to it, maybe you should move to Saudi and live like a Najdi tribal. Given the rampantly arab-centric racist outlook in Saudi, you probably won't get a warm reception.
Well I'll try to be short and concise as much as possible here to convince a sheeple llike your goodself and some others on this very forum.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have strong and close relations which are based on mutual respect, harmony, shared values and a common faith. Over a million Pakistanis are residing and working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while over 600,000 Pakistanis visit Saudi Arabia for performance of Hajj and Umrah every year.
Moreover, Pakistan was deciding whether to respond to Indias test of five nuclear weapons, the Saudis promised more than 50,000 barrels per day of free oil to help Pakistan cope with the economic sanctions that might be triggered by a counter test (am I talking of sanctions on Pakistan here? it is none but uncle sam). And your goodself is accusing Saudi Arabia of supporting TTP and terrorism in the name of Jihad and blowing up all mosques which Saudi had built throughout their relationship with Pakistan... Where would you fit sam's role in this whole scenario and dilemma here, hmmm?
Now, whoever emerges as the leader in Pakistan, Saudi leaders will seek to ensure their understanding about a nuclear deterrent remains in place. If that requires more aid and assistance, it will be a small price to pay. For the kingdom, Pakistan will remain a unique partner though, which on the other hand, Sam tries his best not to let it happen...
PakSaudi stance on Iran?
Shia-Iran have always has the support of Pakistan's enemies. The two Sunni states Saudi and Pakistan, also share a concern about Shia Iran. Both seek to keep ties with Tehran as normal as possible but have a deep fear that Iran might encourage unrest in their Shia minorities (which we have seen to the present in our country). Both have had serious frictions with Iran in the past and work together to minimize Iranian influence in the region. A nuclear Iran worries its neighbors to the south and to the east or vice versa in the case of a nuclear Pakistan. And Iran was the one who confessed and accused Pakistan of ties in their nuclear development.
Shall we start talking of Iran/India/N.Afgh love affairs and it's effects on Pakistan..both in the form of heritage and Pakistan's current situation?
What I do know is that, we have our own language, our own customs and way of life and above all, the legacy of our predecessors at the time of our independence, on August 14, 1947, came to us as a treasure which may be called as Pakistans national heritage. So rich and diversified is this heritage that Pakistani nation can be proud of its glorious past, be Islamic, Post Islamic or pre-Islamic period as far back as pre-historic times. No other country of the world can produce the treasure of by gone days as can be found in Pakistan. It is now incumbent upon us to treasure our national heritage and save it from further deterioration and theft.
BTW You need a chill pill on that.
Pakistan is our identity and we should be proud of that and it's ideology...
