The search exists for a reason where the US/Mexico borders are used to smuggle tons of drugs and US SC has allowed the search if there is a probable cause - in this case the trained drug sniffing dog has sniffed the drug but went wrong. For a supposed morally wrong "vaginal search" in US, there is always a equivalent "two finger test" which exists in India. Look up and read what that is and what SC and human rights organizations has said about that.

Read up the Indian customs procedure. Body search is allowed primarily. Only if there is further need, XRAY is used. So come off the high horse.

And in this particular case, the US courts will decide based on the law suit this lady has filed and that is the legal route the lady has and the authorities will face the charges if found guilty.

this is because even though we are not as rich as u.s we still value human dignity.u.s has all the technology in the world to check whether they are smuggling or not with out stripping the civilians.

2) And are you fine if some woman who is your friend or close to you is treated to cavity search if God forbid the US marshals arrest them for some misunderstanding? But later they find nothing is wrong and just release her. Y or N?

3) Now that your friendly woman was subjected to cavity search though she was innocent and did not do any crime. Now would you sue US marshals? Y or N.

I'm not sure when our government decided that all the prOn online wasn't enough....but as a nation we decided that probing Indian chicks (especially government ones) was the height of perverse entertainment. Granted that the two fingers test has been stopped by SC. Here is a hypothetical situation - There is woman's vagina or rectum which shows that there is something hidden in X-RAY - probable cause. You mean to say no one sticks their fingers into the woman's private parts in India to retrieve the item? Cmon dude. give me a break.
