Is this "War on Terror" worth fighting?

Exactly...thats wht Im saying .Its a vice versa game.....each side is a target for the other....how can u resolve any issue in such a scenario? Its either kill or be killed
The WOT for me is a DUD!

Some people don't got brains to think about that, they just :bounce: to conclusions like Bush.:crazy:

and my condolence goes out to Omar1984.Please don't cry.Think about your friend and the way he died.He is a Shaheed. Not everyone is a Shaheed. Many people return home alive. But he's the Luckiest. He is still alive,in a different way.

This is no war on Islam. If so what was America doing in a nothing to gain place like Kosovo. Europe didn't care.

It is certainly a war on those who promote terror whether Sindaro Luminiso or AQAM. To that end so-called Islamic militants are certainly viewed by the west as IRHABI. If you understand the word then you know this to be true. I won't grace nor dignify these mis-guided evil fools with the term jihadi. Nor should you as practicing muslims. None of these professed elements represent Islam. All these IRHABISTS willingly take innocent muslim lives in pursuit of their objectives whether it's a wedding in Jordan or a hotel in Islamabad. None of their leaders carry a vestige of true national sentiment for either Afghanistan or Pakistan. Either nation as an objective only represents a stepping-stone to a greater "glory".

Pakistanis don't really HAVE to fight this war. Go to the streets. Demand the Army's withdrawal from SWAT and Bajaur. Demand negotiations with the taliban and like-minded followers. Acede to their demands in FATA and elsewhere. In effect, stop fighting these enemies of state and surrender yourselves to their guidance.

See what that gets you. There is no debate among those serious about this matter. Pakistan is at war. The war is in your own land. Your enemies have already fortified Pakistani land with which to resist encroachment by your own government. They fight today against the Pakistani Army to retain control of parts of Pakistan.

Surrender this land! GIVE them what they wish. It's such a small thing for a separate Islamic emirate throughout Chitral, the N.A., NWFP, FATAland, and Baluchistan. Let AQAM worry about the Balouchi rebels.

They'll likely even ally themselves with the rest of Pakistan. That is if you remain compliant.:agree:

"All those factors have been amplified, in the view of some officials, by the torpor of the Pakistani government. Mahmood Shah, a retired Pakistani Army brigadier who until 2006 was in charge of security in the western tribal regions, said the government had the manpower to drive militants out of Khyber but had mounted only a weak response.

He recounted a recent conversation with a senior Pakistani government official. 'You have the chance to wake up,' he said he told the official. 'But if you don’t wake up now, there is a good chance you won’t wake up at all.'"

Posted elsewhere but the quote alone is worth referencing-

Amid Taliban Rule, A NATO Supply-line is Choked-NYT

Pakistan's greatest enemy is yourselves.

well war on terror is abolishing the extremists that reside in our country so its good
bush started it on the wrong reasons and motives
but i believe pakistan is fighting its OWN war on terror that doesnt involve exterminating a religon but a nuisance [taliban, al-qeuda]

It's worth fighting if we can hurry up and conclude it already, our nation should never come across as unstable and chaotic, opens too many back doors which is a massive liability for national security.

We have to alienate those who are willing to fight with us from those who are being seduced to fight us.

One massive operation and done, we need to concentrate on bigger fish.
