That's not true..I have all three: Visa, Master and American Express and only a handful of ATMs accepted them. Bank Alfalah, Standard Chartered and a few others and I'm talking about late 2017. So this year i.e. 2018, I brought some cash with me for my needs...

Maybe ATM had the problem otherwise there must not be any issue - Otherwise all the banks in Pakistan are member of 1Link or MENT gateways - both support Visa & Master
