Is the KMT completely dead now?

Dead for infighting forever inside the Party and a weak KMT leader... no hope

ChineseTiger1986 is very sharp. With this latest backstab by Eric Chu against Hung, now the mortuary bell tolls for China KMT. Decades ago, the old guard all emigrated to USA their beloved daddy. Now all that is left is "Taiwan KMT" which is just DPP in KMT disguise.

Taiwan is our land illegally occupied by a foreign ethnic group (Taiwanese) with only a small 13% minority of Chinese left. We must wipe out the Taiwanese from our land and liberate the oppressed Chinese minority. Wipe them out with nuclear strikes. Let the island run red with blood.

Time to face reality instead of Ah Q spiritual victory.

You are not serious, are you? lol.

0% in Taiwan considers themselves Chinese only. A nuclear strike is the most effective solution to the Taiwan problem. Remember they love Japan especially the DPP so their weakness is the same as Japan.

Sounds like you have a mild case of mental retardation, or you're just Vietnamese.

You think the anti-seccession law is joking? Chinese and Taiwanese are different nationality just like 13 colonies and British loyalists were a different nationality during the war of independence. To save the Chinese loyalists, only 13% remaining, the Taiwanese separatists terrorists must be slaughtered.

Reported for personal attack.

This is a medical diagnosis, not a personal attack.

Even many of the descendants of people who have been living on the island since the Ming consider themselves Chinese and Taiwanese. Even with retarded c*nts saying they should be nuked.

I suggest ignoring HongWu002. He's clearly a false flagger.

Comments that are in complete contradiction to official Chinese government policy on Taiwan are a waste of everyone's time.

In the real world, the mainland Chinese government has started its program of automatic five-year ID cards for Taiwanese. The Chinese government is rolling out more privileges for Taiwanese, not trying to bomb them (which is a silly fantasy).

There is a carrot. You think there is no stick? Check the anti-secession law. Also, you should go to Taiwan every once in a while since living abroad you have little idea how it changed in the past few decades.

Give me a break.

The anti-secession law says nothing about nuking Taiwan. You're crazy.

I challenge you to show me a reputable citation by a senior Chinese government official about nuking Taiwan. If you can't, I suggest you stop posting such nonsense.

Did you read the anti-secession law? Rejection of eventual reunification is a causus belli. 87% of Taiwanese reject eventual reunification. China considers separatism to be equivalent to terrorism. Terrorists can be killed. The method of killing - nuclear or conventional - does not matter. You are equally dead.

Before posting more self-important nonsense, actually to go Taiwan first since you obviously have not lived there for decades. The Taiwanese have crossed the red-line and are fair game for a war of annihilation.

The 13% of Chinese loyalists remaining must be protected even if it means massacring 87% of Taiwanese.

Every time that I challenge a troll to post a reputable citation to back up their claim, I get nothing in response.

Admit it. Your ridiculous claim of nuking Taiwan is totally out of whack. You belong in a mental hospital. Here's why.

1. Almost every country in the world agrees that Taiwan is part of China under the "One China" policy. You are advocating that China nuke part of its own territory. This is called idiocy and not worthy of discussion.

2. Taiwan is the goose that lays the golden eggs. Taiwan has been transferring technology into China for almost 40 years. The tech transfer is still continuing. There's a reason that China can grow 7% annually today. China is receiving a free flow of Taiwanese technology and patents.

3. One to two million Taiwanese work and live on mainland China. They are helping to push China's technology forward. Also, there are millions of overseas Taiwanese living in the United States. There are many overseas Taiwanese-mainland China joint research projects. Any bombing of Taiwan will result in the immediate cessation of overseas Taiwanese support for joint science research with mainland Chinese.

For the above three reasons and your inability to provide a reputable citation from a senior mainland Chinese government official, your idea of nuking Taiwan is pure garbage. I have proven that you are a lunatic.

You get one guess whose patents are in all of those mainland Chinese high-tech exports to the world.

Taiwan remains the world's third-largest cumulative foreign holder at 150,121 USPTO patents

For 2014, Taiwan remained the world's third-largest cumulative foreign holder of 150,121 USPTO (ie. U.S. Patent and Trademark Office) patents during the last 38 years. Essentially, Taiwan is out-innovating every other country on the planet except for the United States, Japan, and Germany. This would explain Taiwan's ever-increasing standards of living and foreign exchange reserves.

Patent Counts By Country, State, and Year - All Patent Types (December 2014)

Taiwan's cumulative USPTO patents are clearly massive in terms of quantity. However, we have to examine the quality of the Taiwanese patents. This can be done indirectly and easily by mentioning ten large leading Taiwanese companies in diverse industries.

1. TSMC (or Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) is the world leader in the foundry business with 50% worldwide market share. TSMC logic chip technology is currently being mass produced at a leading-edge 20nm.

2. Mediatek is a leading multi-billion dollar designer of systems-on-chip (SOC) for smartphones and tablets.

3. Quanta and Compal produce 80-90% of the world's notebook computers with Taiwanese patents.

4. AU Optronics is a leading LCD manufacturer. AU Optronics won a monstrous patent lawsuit against South Korea's LG where a U.S. Federal District Court ruled that LG infringed on four key AU Optronics patents.

5. Epistar is a leading LED manufacturer with 1,000 LED patents.

6. Formosa Plastics is a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals.

7. Taiwan is the world's fourth-largest machine tool exporter and has built a sub-micron CNC machine tool.

8. "Delta Electronics, Inc. (Chinese: 台達電子工業股份有限公司), founded in 1971, is the world's largest provider of switching power supplies and DC brushless fans,[1] as well as a major source for power management solutions, components, visual displays, industrial automation, networking products, and renewable energy solutions. Delta Group has sales offices worldwide and manufacturing plants in Taiwan, China, Thailand, Mexico, India and Europe."

9. "In Taiwan, which has the second-largest chip-design industry after the U.S., Novatek is a standout. Chairman Ho Tai-shung has turned it from a little spinoff of United Microelectronics (the Taiwanese chipmaker that is the world's second-largest foundry, behind only neighbor and rival Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing) into a chip-design powerhouse. Novatek, based in Taiwan's premier high-tech zone, the Hsinchu science park, is the island's dominant provider of TFT-LCD driver and controller chips, key components in the liquid crystal displays used in PC monitors and TV screens." (from BusinessWeek)

10. "Largan is the world’s biggest designer and manufacturer of imaging lens products used in mobile devices." (from Bloomberg News)

There are totally 700k Taiwanese expatriates live in Shanghai, and the total Taiwanese lived in China should be over 3 million.

Draft law to give Taiwan natives Shanghai resident rights

I think the those "13% Chinese in Taiwan" are more problem than the "87% native Taiwanese".

Remember those 13% Chinese descended from the KMT, and they are more anti-CPC by nature.

The DPP was once connected to the CPC and known as the Communist Party in Taiwan, but the CPC did lose its grip on its branch in Taiwan.

Even Lee Teng-hui was once a Communist member, but the CPC lost its grip on the Communist Party of Taiwan, and it was infiltrated by the pro-Japan separatists to become the separatist DPP that we know today.

Lee Teng-hui was a traitor, he has betrayed CPC, and he always has his Imperial Japan in his heart.

LOL at Taiwanese. I don't care how many patents you have. You reject eventual unification, you are a separatist and terrorist. Your life is forfeit per the anti-secession law.

Read it yourself.

Not a single senior Chinese government official agrees with your crazy idea of nuking sovereign Chinese territory on Taiwan.

Who do you think lives on Taiwan? Oh wait, it's Han Chinese. Duh!

You are way off the reservation. Hence, I'm confident that you HongWu002 is Japanese, Vietnamese, or Pinoy. No Han Chinese would ever advocate nuking its own territory. Case closed.

Your intuition is correct. 13% favor "eventual" reunification - including conditions like mainland China must be a multi-party democracy. I think this is KMT official position. The percentage who favor reunification under CCP leadership is <1%.

This is why I am extremely pessimistic about Taiwan. Almost everybody on the island prefers Japan or USA to CCP. Yet mainlanders are really stupid too because they think Taiwan is full of Chiang Kai-sheks. Yearning to return to the mainland by defeating CCP. That era was gone in early 1990's.

Mainland Chinese must abandon dogmatic thinking. Taiwanese are a different nationality just like English is not Irish even though they speak the same tongue. Taiwanese are a foreign nation occupying our island. If we want our island back we need to kill a large number of them to get it. If we don't want to kill them, then forget about the island and amend the constitution.

You are not Chinese. You are Taiwanese. Go away.

Sia Soat-hong or Xie Xuehong, the founder of the Communist Party of Taiwan, and she was persecuted during the Cultural Revolution, and that was huge mistake and tragedy.

Her death had caused CPC to lose its control on the Communist Party of Taiwan, and later CPC's offshoot in Taiwan was getting infiltrated and assimilated by the pro-Japanese DPP.
